I don’t have kids but here is what I do for fun unique snacks. Saltine or Ritz crackers with peanut butter, use chocolate chips, nuts, M&M’s on top etc…. For fruits bars, boil some frozen fruits on the stove, use graham crackers and spread the cooled fruit on top. All creative snacks, I think outside of the box and it saves a lot money. Each day is a new fruit spread or peanut butter cracker topping.
Most fruit cakes are made with candied fruit yuck! Grandma use to make a fruit cake with green and red maraschino cherries, dates, chocolate chips and walnuts. It was sooooo goooood I crave it every Christmas. Not to mention her homemade bread right out of the oven, warm with real butter. Miss the 70's with Grandma.

Just a little retail "secret" if you go to a store in the morning Everything will look well stocked because usually during the night a crew pulls Everything forward and makes it look fully stocked then during the day people take things or move things back so later in the day it looks more empty. I literally have not been grocery shopping since December 9 today I had to get a few things. Trying to stick to a budget too since I Start a new job january and will get paid bi weekly. Plus snow is headed our way before Christmas eve 1-3 inches. But not to worry because we are leaving out December 28 to go to florida
I bet that cinnamon brioche bread would make such good French toast! I’ve used their regular brioche bread for French toast and it was so good, now I want to try it with the cinnamon 😋

I got that peppermint cocoa cookie dough at walmart and did not like them! They tasted burnt even though they weren’t! I tried them twice and both times they tasted that way.
