I have a 2015 5358 and I'm having issues trying to disconnect the sensor at timestamp 1:45. are there any other techniques that can be used to remove this sensor?

Sometimes the tab used to release the sensor can get stuck. In these cases you can use a flathead screwdriver to push against the tab in an attempt to release it. They are not always easy to remove so be careful to not pull too hard while attempting to disconnect it.

Just changed it for my 2015 535i. All T20 screws, and (2) 10mm hex bolt at glovebox. Filter air flow direction points to interior.

It was more exciting not disconnecting the battery. Had my heart pumping the entire time replacing the filters wondering if the airbag would smack me in the face
