It wasn’t the last episode of Dynasty. It was the season 6 cliffhanger. The last episode was in 1989 where Alexis snd Dex fall off the balcony at the Carlton hotel and the crooked cop shoots Blake on the stairs of the mansion .

Nope! When pregnant and drunk Sue Ellen fell down the stairs and Lucy was too high to do anything but laugh. Or when the Nanny came down in red and CC asked who’s that?, Maxwell, with a big grin, says that is the nanny

My favorite is Alexis throwing self righteous Blake and the dull Krystle out of the mansion. I remember watching it live in 1986 . I was on the edge of my seat . You are missing the most famous prime time staircase cliff hanging season final from the short lived 2 season "Flamingo road". 80's prime time vixen Morgan Fairchild is pushed or falls from a staircase in a sensational scene with Mark Harmon. That soap was canned unceremoniously. The network kept moving the show around. I was a huge fan and adored Morgan Fairchild!

#5 was filmed on location inside a house in Dallas (not the Duncan Ranch that was used for exterior shots), the set designers recreated the foyer, living room and dining room on a Hollywood soundstage the following season.

The former Calder house on Park Lane. They used this house for the first 8 or so episodes of the 1978-79 season, while replicas were built in LA. They finished that seasons interior episodes in LA. The only big change they made was to the staircase. They made it wind up at the LA set, instead of going straight up, like at the Calder house. They also used this house in 1996’s JR Returns.
