There was absolutely NO NEED for Fiducia Supplicans. It only confused and divided the Church.
The Church already had a perfect stand re the LGB: condemn the sin , but not the sinner.
The LGB are welcome to join the Church as long as they acknowledge their sin, and are attending the Church to affirm their love for Jesus and their willingness to amend their ways. Sin is sin. No compromise there.
That papal document was so unnecessary.

I am a Catholic. The Pope is not the church. He is a custodian of Jesus teachings entrusted to Peter. The Catholic Church has a vast history of many good and saintly popes and bad and evil popes. Pope Francis appears to be in the side of bad popes. But God is in control. Pope Francis will succeeded with a good Pope.
This Pope is a devilish incarnation. Must get rid of him as soon as possible before tarnishing the imege and dignity of our catholic church

same sex couples can get the blessing if in need of God help and acknowledge they are sinners. that means they are aware it’s wrong that’s why they are allowed to get the blessing to increase their trust in God. I understand that some people who come for these blessings are not acknowledging it’s sinful but when reading the document it make it clear that’s it’s only for those who are in need of God help and acknowledge they are sinners like everyone else. the document does not say they should still be in the relationship. if they acknowledge it’s wrong and they are sinners like everyone else then it should follow that they would break up the sin since the blessing is for those in need of God help. They wouldn’t be able to get married the first part of the document makes it clear so that means they would need to break up because the Catholic Church wants people to date for marriage.

He discussed couples because civil unions are a topic the priests needed refined guidance on. Same sex and heterosexual. You can't bless either as a couple but the priest can bless individuals who want God's blessing and help to reform their life. It was to tell the Germans to stop! Why are YOU stirring the pot? No doctrine or practice was changed. The document repeatedly stated the Church cannot bless sin, which was in a previous Vatican document. How about using your time to pray for souls to be saved and to know Jesus and to have the Beatific vision??? Why be the accuser of the brethren? Why are you listening to schismatics, sede vacantist and the mainstream secular media?

Mostly agree... EXCEPT they should NOT come as a "couple". They should come as individuals. When they come to Church, they can only come as friends at most and not as a couple (behave accordingly). Sorry, but no compromise there.
Pls show the proof tht jesus started the rcc. N show proof tht the apostles said mass n heard confessions n carried the rosary n prayed with pagan beads n wore the scapular, the miraculous medal, did the foolish divine mercy n chaplets n preached from faustinas diary n made saints of popes who were freemasons n allowed pedophiles to do the eucharist n even allowed pedopliles to partake of the real presence of jesus, n added to god's word.

Its very unfortunate that many people dont understand yet the pastoral approach of Pope Francis. He clearly stated that the Church can never bless sin but sinners so that they repent from their deviation or wrong relationship.
He's blessing unrepentant defiant sinners without rebuke and making claims the Holy Spirit will enrich the truth and good things in their relationship. This blessing will point people away from correction and salvation, not toward it. And virtually all of these blessings will be illicit and scandalous if it's ever seen.
@@steveempire4625 Only God sees the hearts of others if they are repentant or unrepentant. We are only humans we cannot judge them. Moreover Jesus is compassionate and patient to all sinners. Let's not be harsh or hate those who are sinners
@@cklyngdoh4628 If a couple presents themselves as a couple for a blessing with no rebuke featured, they're unrepentant. If they were repenting, they would not be a couple in the first place and would not present themselves as such. This is basically the Matthew 22:11-14/John 9:31 clause. You would have King Herod and his wife come for a blessing together, no questions asked. That sets you apart from Scripture and tradition. You'd say John the Baptist and Jesus were cruel when they rebuked sinners. The true harshness is not rebuking and correcting sinners. If you give a blessing which 99% interpret to mean "God's favor" you're not encouraging them to repent. So, either you deny the due penalty of their sin, which many do, or you're an enabler of sin and you really don't care about their salvation. You talk about Jesus but those in mortal sin are not to receive communion which is the body and blood of Jesus Christ because it will add to their sin. And you want to have these same-sex couple blessings in the middle of a culture war, in the middle of delicate negotiations with the Orthodox, risking a Western schism? It's the height of foolishness.

Jesus established his church with the apostles. They were born again christians n they died as christians. Jesus did not start anothet church called the rcc. Show me some proof if he did. N how can the present popes claim succession from peter when the teachings of the present cath church are totally opposite.
The apostles did not pray the rosary, or make n bow to statues, or wear the scapular or miraculous medal, or do the foolish divine mercy n chaplets, or preach from the foolish diary of faustina. They did not preach from another book called the catechism. They also did not claim infallibility. They were holy n none were pedophiles. Don't liken the Catholic Church to Islam where all they have is an old dusty book to support their faith. Our God is a living God and He reaches out to us even in modern day thru miracles -- something Islam has nothing of. And each time, esp in Marian apparitions, comes with a message. Divine Mercy is "foolish" ? I would strongly advise you to mind your tongue, sir. You clearly know very little about it and what Jesus has provided to help convince the Church that the message is legitimate.

It says it blesses the individuals of the couple. So they are coming to church as a couple, unrepentant, and asking for a blessing. Sorry but this is complete BS and seems to be a deviation of morals. Pope francis needs to choose whether he wants unity with the churches or wants to make catholicism appealing to secular audiences who have no interest in salvation.
