Xena is one of my all time favorite shows and it is still fun to watch. I can't imagine anyone else playing the roles of Xena and Gabrielle. I'm glad it was filmed in New Zealand and admire how beautiful it is there. Shortly after the show ended I adopted a two year old beagle and one of her puppies and named them Xena and Gabby.
and thus one of the great mysteries of all time has been resolved...who would Lucy Lawless actually take for a husband? And the answer is...a giant red rat...

It rains A LOT in Auckland.
As a kiwi I can 100% confirm that I and most Kiwis say 'fish and chips' like Kevin Sorbo does, as opposed to the Aussie "feesh and cheeps".
