Fishing for some grunters on a hot summer day in KZN. DFJ was very successful, managing to catch a few grunters and enjoying the day with family and friends. Even the girl got into the Grunter action!

Nice fish. The grunter at 13:51 is a Cock Grunter, not a Spotted Grunter. You can see the finer spots and the spots on the face. Great fish, not the easiest to come by.

Thank you for the lovely comment. Yes it is a restricted area. However you can become a member and as such you would be able to fish there and utilize the facility.

Hi we have a yearly permit. Not sure what the fees are now. You can contact them and get a membership.
