In the year 1907 , mahaperiyavaa took ' Sanyasramam ( sanyasa dheeksha) when He was 13 years old. As periyava was a minor, through local district court, a guardian was appointed to take up matam 's administration.Till 1915 , Administration was done by Sri Venkatarama iyer.After that ,Pasupathi iyer was appointed as the Srikaaryam ' of matam. He belong to Adayapalam, North Arcot district. He was working in a District court at south Arcot. He was residing at a place called Tirupadiripuliyur. He had connection with matam's 66th & 67th ponyiffs by his service to them..Pasupathi iyer was always with Periyava as he was young &only 13 years old. Iyer would watch with whom and what He's speaking , His movement and safety etc..Till 1919 Pasupathi iyer was with Periyava. After that he left his position as others didn't obey or like his way of strictness and Aacharam etc In 1925 , when he became ill, Periyava asked him to go and stay at Tirupadiripuliyur. At this place mahaperiyavaa came for ' Navarathri festival '-9 days festival activities were done .On the 10th day, ' vijayadasami day' mahaperiyavaa was going round the streets in Pushpa pallakku in ' Rajaveedhi Oorvalam'..Periyava stopped near Pasupathi Iyer's house.. iyer came and stood out near his house.. mahaperiyavaa gave a divine look on him and Blessed him..Periyava gave prasadam to him.The same day night Pasupathi iyer attained the Lotus Feet of Sri mahaperiyavaa.JAYA JAYA SHANKARA HARA HARA SHANKARA SRI MAHAPERIYAVA PADHAME CHARANAM!!!
