This was my introduction to metal. I was probably the only black guy listening to this stuff haha around my area at the time anyways. The band is great, the music was and is, beautiful and gets me amped for running and lifting sessions. Caused me to start listening to alot of the early metal from all the hair bands up until now. Good stuff.
I love that the Guillotine series came back to Ronnie. He did say once that Monte stole music from him while he was in prison and I'm confident that it was the guillotine series. It started and ended where it should have and it creates a bridge between the two bands besides the early work that Ronnie did in ETF. In a way, in those early years up until ETF's 3rd album and Falling in Reverse's second album, the bands were still very connected, Max worked on that 2nd FIR album, he worked on the ETF albums at that point and Omar Espinosa also worked on the first 2 FIR albums and that first Escape the Fate album, so it made perfect sense that this series ending with FIR was an end to everything connected between the bands.
@@oSiiKModding Oh my god dude, get over it. I love Ronnie's music, Dying is Your Latest Fashion is my favourite album but I'm not clinging onto a dumb argument from over a decade and a half ago for its sake. Let people enjoy the music they want, we have enough elitist pricks already.

Man I think 2 is great and more memorable, but I do enjoy the first one a lot too. While the 3rd doesn’t hit hard as I wish it did, compared to 2 and 1. 4 is alright, doesn’t have the same feel to the past 3.
Imho if they played metalcore instead of emo, they probably would be one of the most famous metalcore bands of all time. Their best songs are metalcore..
Apparently guillotine 2 was Ronnie’s idea but was stolen by monte money when ronnie got locked up, Ronnie said that in an interview but it’s hard to find Edit: when I said hard to find I was talking about the source I used and back 1 year ago for me at least it was hard to find, doesn’t make any of us wrong.
I remember hearing that I believe on twitch. Don't quote me on that one but I'm positive I heard him saying how he had all these ideas about making a series of guillotines when he was still in ETF. Guillotine 2 had so much done when Ronnie got arrested....
@jasonsudeikis26 actually now that I think of that I agree, considering Bring me the horizon released it in 2013 and G4 was released in 2015. It feels like everyone in the metal scene rips eachothers riffs, I guess for me I see it as who does it better, I think BMTH did it better tho as I was never a fan of G4
am i the only one who thinks part 4 doesn't really fit with this series of songs? plus the end kind of makes it to where there SHOULD be another song after that. i love the first 3 of course and i like the final chapter, but it seems more like a "first" chapter.
0:00 The Guillotine
4:32 The Guillotine II (this war is ours)
8:53 The Guillotine III (The Aftermatch)
14:26 The Guillotine IV (the last chapter)
u don't say
thank you for putting this together lots nostalgic memories

i the only one that thinks the riff at 3:26 is pure bliss... plays for awhile too so smexy.
the best thing about the last chapter, that Ronnie mention to there's no way out and he let the song just fade out coincidence?
I like them exactly how they are, 1,2.3,4. 👌👊🙌✌
FIR and ETF will always be king when it comes to scene bands 🔥💯🤘
I must say guillotine 1 and 2 are masterpiece.
Agreed
#3 is my favourite by far. Amazing guitar work.
Agreed
Agree and the solo part, yummm
The Aftermath (G3) is my favorite out of the 4
I like 1and 4 the most
It all depends on what era you came up in and how old you are. #1 was great but #2 this war is ours is FUXKING LEGENDARY. Bone chilling
Only ever heard this war is ours so now it's time to hear it all.
faxx man i only heard the first til now🔥🎸🤘
1 is the war
2 is victory
3 is coming home parade
4 is ptsd
i really want them to come out with a fifth one and call it The Guillotine V (hahaha we fooled you) but, im not good at naming things
Makes zero sense. Theres a story here. Going to war, during war, coming home and PTSD.

Yeah, I know right! Part 4 just doesn't go together but it sounds good, but it should be at the start
Part 4 was sung by Falling In Reverse, I believe, but 1-3 were Escape The Fate
Same vocalist used in number 4 as the original songs
Ronnie did the first one with Escape The Fate and the 4th one with Falling In Reverse, the 2nd and 3rd one were with Craig
