They can stop occupying the European Union country of Cyprus and then we can just start to talk about improving the customs union.

@@vassilisioannou5488 Firstly, you are not European, and you will never be considered as so, by the Western European countries. I sincerely hope it won't be long until you accept this. They see you as their little puppets, whom they can control easily.
Even Georgia is preparing to obtain EU membership, even if it's in Caucasia and not in Europe, but for whatever reason Turkey can't. Because it's a nonsense thing, it's completely up to France and Germany's discretion whether a country gets it or not. Geographical location, cultural ties, societal norms, human development, none of them matter. Do you really think you're "developed" or "civilized" ? LOL
Second, the precious "European Union country of Cyprus" of yours, was the one who started massacring innocent civillian Turks living in the area first. It's not my personal opinion: it's a written and filmed fact, well-documented in every single way possible, which you can easily look up and access on the internet with a few clicks and searches.
The government and the state of the Turkish Republic, as much as you hate it, possesses the absolute right to defend and protect the endangered lives of its citizens and ethnicity of origin, as much as your country, state and government also does.

@@vassilisioannou5488u are right but As a Turk, Cyprus is not occupied. There are many documents about the persecution of the Greeks against the Turks living on the island. In addition, they are not currently at war, Northern Cyprus and Southern Cyprus are divided by agreement and have borders. It's just that countries don't recognize it.

@@yusuftahatr I don't know about what your talking about, you should get the right facts, Turkey is illegally occupying the republic of Cyprus.
