wow. i wouldve scooped game 1 so long before you did cuz i thought there was clearly no chance of winning it. That you won r1 g1 and g3 from your opponent drawing too many cards both times says so much about how power creep evolved over time XD Also huge props for sticking that out and turning it into a win by defeating opponent with their own deck lmao.
I really thought about scooping, and if I was playing in paper I would have, but the power of the chess clock (which I think is great) meant I could play the game differently and actually reach the conclusions of the games instead of needing to scoop.
2024 modern horizons 3 monastery mentor would cost 1 white, lack prowess on its own body, and have ward 1 and flying, and probably be a legend. thats my concept. actually sounds like a pretty fun card for trying to keep up with the extremely pushed cards of today. EDIT: all jokes aside, making it 1 mana and a legend would be a genuinely fun way to powercreep the mentor high enough to keep up with modern horizons cards tbh. cant play multiple but imagine dropping it on turn 3 with ponder and path mana. so sweet.
@@pokeyclawz8727 the list was from a donor and we wanted to keep it as boomer style as possible, and keep as many non creature spells for the mentor as we could.
