You're absolutely right! Those early helicopters, like the Sikorsky VS-300, really struggled in strong winds. It's amazing how far they've come since then. The Fw 61 faced its own set of challenges too. It was a pioneering aircraft, but early aviation was all about trial and error. They were constantly learning and improving. I think it's fascinating to see how far we've come in aviation.
