Of course I really need to do an update on the whole thing. It’s actually dead honestly, it did like the tank environment however it needs air flow(or just opening the tank every few days) & I was gone for about 2 weeks. I didn’t leave the tank a bit open so it rotted & was too small to save.
Your 'True Rex' is actually a hybrid of Begonia longistyla.
Sadly I couldn’t find much information about Begonia longistyla. I would’ve loved to see it. Thank you so much for letting me know though 🥰

Sorry for the bad news, that’s my only suggestion though, it does well in a tank but it absolutely needs some type of airflow 😊
