what is the minimum distance at which it's possible to bring the back tyers closer , make it less wide , without compromising on the balance & movability of the wheelchair. How many inches apart are the tyers in this one ?

It’s not really possible to give an estimate since every rider is going to have a different seat width and knee size + camber (tilt of the wheel) options vary significantly before even getting to brand differences, so even if we had the exact measurements for this athlete’s, it’s functionally useless bc everyone’s is different.
The camber is also essential to helping keep the racers (all in a race, not just the user) safe as it helps avoid stacks, albeit not entirely since accidents can and do happen. iirc it’s also more useful for speed since aerodynamics, though I’m not 100% sure about the physics regarding that. Track racers also tend to need less stability than road marathoners, so that’s another way the camber will often vary.
While you could in theory have a racing chair with no camber at all, it’s not recommended; it’s also not measured in distance, it’s measured in degrees since the tilt of the wheel is what’s measured for accuracy. Measuring by distance would also vary based on the type of wheel is on the chair, etc. so there’s no real way to measure this by inches.

the wheels are tilted.. so aren't they harder to move ? Also, doesn't the center axle & wheel hub break under the weight of the rider ?

      Nope

No to both of your questions. The camber of the wheels (tilt) allows for more agility and balance in the chair. While each chair will be built to a weight limit, it’s usually far more than one of these athletes will weight, the limit is usually 110-120kg for a normal frame.

Yeah they break. That's what they built their whole career around. Making racing chairs that just break. 💩👍

This is an extremely late reply, but it seems for all the world like a really old version of SolidWorks. Seems to be pre-2012.
