@@hunterjarnigan7220 I’ll find them again if I start going more. This was my first trip since November but those smallies sure are gettin big when they show up
@@hunterjarnigan7220 honestly I got lucky the first couple times I went out then I was able to figure them out after the luck lol they can be a royal pain but when they’re in that eel grass they fight like the devil 😂
I know you work with Lew’s now but have experience with Daiwa. I’m trying to get an honest comparison between the Daiwa Kage vs the Lew’s Custom Lite casting rods. I don’t know how unbiased you can be because of your affiliation with Rather Outdoors? I’m interested in weight & sensitivity. Thank you 🙏🏽
@@Landhammer_fishing I’d give ya an honest opinion if I had one but unfortunately I’ve never used a Kage. I haven’t even heard of one to be honest lol all I will tell ya is for the price point the Custom Lites are really hard to beat.
@@MichaelKnappFishing , thank you for your reply. The Kage is a special item Daiwa makes available to privately owned tackle shops. They’re not available in big box stores or online.
Got a video clip of one I got over 8 lbs out there this past Tuesday. She was a tank.
@@tnbassin8307 dude I haven’t seen a largie over 5 in like a year there. It’s been tough for me.
A friend of mine also caught one over 8 back end of May in a tournament I caught a couple over 5 around the first of May when they was going on bed
