    Une composition talentueuse, qui mérite ses louanges et reconnaissances... une des rares compositions qui serait s'hisser face à celle des grands romantiques, et pour cela, toutes mes félicitations ! Je vous encourage à continuer dans la composition.

      Repent and trust in Jesus. He's the only way to Heaven. We've all sinned and deserve Hell. Sins like lying, lusting, etc. Repent and trust only in Jesus, and you will be saved! You can be saved because he took the punishment for our sins on himself when he died on the cross, just like someone can pay your speeding fine in court, and you get off free.

    Marvelous! I knew I'd love the piece since the fact that the central theme is in 6/8, like Chopin's ballades (am I wrong or the passages of the entrance of the Allegro are inspired by the coda of the second ballade ;)?). The piece deserves the title of the form! And there's also a little reminiscence of the sonata form, just awesome!

    • @Pikpus2357
      @Pikpus2357  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Thanks a lot. Yes you’re right, the coda has a Chopin influence, although his harmonic and thematic language is far more complex and subtle than mine =) thanks for watching!

    Wow, you have an introduction and smooth transitions between topics, and, most importantly, what surprised me, intelligible coda!! What a wonderful job. I would learn if there was an appropriate playing level, but you have to play it on a real instrument to take the piece to the next level. Good luck with the implementation!

    I absolutely enjoyed your ballade, Pikpus. While some compared it to Chopin's due to its 6/8 meter, I think the style of the piece in general is rather Mendelssohnian. I would like to hear this ballade on a real piano one day as I believe it will sound much better.

    have you ever played this piece on your piano? that help to reduce the awkwardness of the piece. Works for me. (not saying that this piece is awkward, actually the opposite but it improves.) 2:58(bar 104) consider changing the key to F# major instead of Gb major. Amazing coda. (You compose really fast bro! any tips for me?)

      Hi! I always try to write things in a pianistic way and to avoid useless difficulties. Maybe I don’t always succeed though.
      Regarding the speed of composition, well it varies over time and depends on so many things. Composition is like any other thing, you just get more and more « efficient » with time and experience. Moreover it doesn’t matter if you compose « slowly » or not, just take the time you need to explore your ideas and to write your music, the rest will come naturally.

      The rhythm, harmonies, decorations, dynamics and many more factor make each song different. They basically set the song identity, if it is correct. The best thing with music is that every song gives an special sensesion and tells a different story to the listener. As a composer myself, I don't achieve that very much. That is what makes my compositions awkward or cringe. But you are a way more skillful pianist or composer with many more years of experience. Your total work is excellent. Everything you compose is very good to listen. Maybe the composer knows something more about his work and I'm sure you like it as it is to publish it online. So, for the first comment about awkwardness, try to listen and get more to the logic of the piece. You may appreciate after you analyse it.
