Your description and showing the lines for the cone of errancy and twisting it to make it narrower was kinda mind-blowing. Never really thought about that. I'ma need to pick up a flippy mid-range!
Ive never had someone explain how to hit gaps that way and i love it❤. I have subconsciously been doing the same thing with out actually recognizing what i was doing.. After watching this video i am going to intentionally use this technique and i think it will really help me hit more gaps. Thank you man i love your videos.👍🏿👍🏿
Thanks 👊 Yeah I think a lot of us do this to a degree, but understanding the "why" behind it helps me commit to it, which helps when it comes time to execute
Awesome job! I saw the gap and was thinking to myself, "How is he going to record this shot(s)?". And then you hit all three shots in one take. Nicely done. I like flipping my uplink, crave, and wraith.
ngl I got progressively more nervous as that take went on haha. Good practice for rated rounds, though. Flippy wraith is the dream 🤩 I haven't had one in a while bc I keep losing them before I can get them there haha
You know this is something I recently found out myself through just trying different discs and it has definitely upped my percentage and fairway lies through tighter gaps. Solid advice wish I had learned it sooner lol
Let me know how it goes! I often use anhyzers for the same sort of "effective use of space" concept, but typically those shots are in wider fairways than hole 3 at Hudson haha
Does twisting from a bent over position to a more up right position make for more flip like you are adding another trajectory or actual more precisely "roll" to the disc.
If you do it quickly and violently it would, but I don't recommend that- you want to maintain the same angle of your body as much as possible through the throw
I own 3 midnight prowl's. Any disc I love, I try to bag/own multiples of. MP has an amazing flip up to flat and then float carry. However it does require the right amount of speed to not turn it over and definitely a better disc for little to no wind conditions.
@@baldeaglediscgolf oh, it was buttery. I haven't thrown a normal origin but I heard they were really flippy. Meta was the perfect stability for that shot for me

It's pretty much the only reason I have the Lobster in the bag (and jail shots). But it's nice to have when it's needed for sure 👌
Spot on, as per usual. Really like the subtle humor, and this video seems even better refined than usual? Quality work for sure.
Thank you 🙏 I'm learning more about camera work and editing in addition to disc golf in every video haha

The twisted cone analogy makes sense. Will test it out at the course next time.
60% of the time it works- every time.
Great video, love the in depth explanation

@@ArmoryDiscGolf I get lucky in the used bin every now and then.
@ArmoryDiscGolf throw a wraith into a fence 200 time trust me it'll be a flippy boi
@@ArmoryDiscGolfI would also recommend a light pink color because those thing flip more
@@neverlayup having the all orange bag makes it all the harder for me to get the right used bin disc haha

Yeah for me knowing that it's not just some weird fluke thing helps me commit to it haha
Great idea and one I plan to try out! This feels like an effective use of the space you are given in the fairway

This helped me a ton thank you
Love it, glad to hear!
Great video! Very helpful!!
Appreciate it 👊
Smart video. Thanks!
Yessir, hope it helps 👊

I missed a few today I'll get a notepad out👍😂
Well good news, this has a 100% money back guarantee to fix that immediately haha
@@ArmoryDiscGolf I'll find out tomorrow 👊🥏😂
ok so now its time for me to lern hyzer
gotta have it in the arsenal!
Sadly, I lost my midnight prowl this morning. Happily, i can put that lobster in the bag that had been patiently waiting to hit these gaps!
I feel like you had a love/hate relationship with that Midnight Prowl haha. I'm excited for Lobster szn though
