Went through depression and it was this song that brought me to my knees and reminded me that God loves me. I was at a point of taking my life. Thank you Jesus for your saving grace. There's no shadow You won't light up
God reminded me of this song when I learned that my mom had stage 4 breast cancer. I started singing this song and realized that He IS GOOD no matter what. My mom passed away last month and I can still stay that God is a good Father. He is GOOD in every season of our life.
It takes a strong faith to have this outlook. God is good in all circumstances. My condolences to you and prayers for God's continual blessings in your life, in Jesus' name.

Every July 16th.... I think about my Dad. He was a good man, but Jesus called him back. It's been 32 years....yet there's hardly a day that goes by I don't think of him. My earthly Dad was a great one and helped me be able to understand how Good my Heavenly Father is...my Dad recently died (Dec 2016) and our family sang this at his funeral so we could share what our earthly Dad taught us about our Heavenly Father. I picked a day + time, I sent an Email to 35 or so asking them to participate & to send this idea on + I posted my idea on Fbook. But, it did not catch on. I stopped after about 8 weeks. All I had hoped for was that the words of this prayer would come true, now. I imagined a wonderful world for all humans.

I understand your pain. My father has Alzheimer's and half the Time he doesn't know who I am!! It's a horrible disease!! I've lost my step mom 3 years ago and my mom 6 years!! And I am only 27 but God has blessed me a lot!! I've struggled with a lot in life and with major depression to the point of wanting to not be here on this earth!! But since I've meet the love of my life he's changed me so much!!!

Amazing song! We sang this song last night at a prayer and worship service at Summitview Church with my dad and twin brother. I saw some of my old friends from Living Hope there, I was so happy to see them. Please be praying. I recently broke up with my bf and I actually wanted to end the relationship because it was going nowhere with all the drama. Pray that God will bring me another Christian guy that goes to my school Evergreen, pray that he will find interest in me, that he will live close to me

I don't think it a coincidence that when I'm straying from God I found this song in the most unlikely of places, God forgives all of us and dosn't want to harm us to show us our wrongs. Some people like me have this large internal conflict such as with porn or another type of sin, and I know I can't blame anyone else but me for putting myself on this hot lava, but God knows that I want to listen and love him, but a barrier that I've unwittingly created is blocking the path and I need to break it down and God is more than happy to assist me. I hope and pray all of us can continue our walks with God and help each other through each trial.🙏🏻
