Tonight we continue the progress on the 1955 Belair. I wante6d to test fit the ls engine in the 55 belair. I wanted to install the Engine and 4l80e transmission to make sure they fit. I ordered a pan from BRP Hotrod. I was a little concerned that the 4l80e would be to big for the factory tunnel but I think it will work. It will be close to the floor. Also I wanted to make sure the oil pan was going to clear the steering components. It all is looking good. I hope to find a set of headers that will fit so I can run a true long tube header.
