I love this. You can literally watch the convection currents develop. The heavy blue water is being pulled slowly towards the rising hot red water. And the red water that has already risen eventually makes it’s way over to the downward pull of the cold water
This is just a micro example of how ocean currents and winds are cause by convection at the earth's equator. Convection is the process of heated particles moving from warmer areas to cooler areas. In our oceans this creates current. If you notice at the end the movement of the red dye actual pushes the blue dye toward the heat and thus like our oceans, the cycle of the current continues.
Shout out too my science teacher for this awesome demo!!!👍
That's a great visual demonstration.
Best video demo presentation for convection. Thank you for this!

This was a fantastic video to use to introduce the idea of mantel convection to my 7th grade class! Gracias.
Thanks, Now I understand it better 😌😌
Probably the best visual explanation of convection
Awesome exp.thanks
thi as actual a very good demostration.
Amazing❤
Amazing... 🙂
Good job
Great 👍👍
What's the name of this song?
Amazing❤😂
