    If everyone plays up to their capabilities and does what they are supposed to do, then I just don't see many holes personally. What else do you need other than what you got. You can win it all with who you have.Go Braves

    Jake, regarding your pronunciation, I believe you did muy bueno amigo. Love your work. I can’t wait until these young men are called up in 2029 or 2030. Those years sound crazy.

    Do you think Contreras and Langeliers having good seasons last year factor into the Braves not wanting to give up Drake Baldwin???

    Very interesting episode tonight. I feel the window of opportunity is going to be open for several more years to say the least as they can still add every year to stay competitive. It's a top team now and should remain a top team for the foreseeable future. Thanks Jake for your opinions as always. GO BRAVES 2025 and beyond.

    Pete Alonso for Braves starting left fielder 2025! If he really does hate the Mets maybe he'll come here and hit 70 bombs!

      You'd be better off playing Ozuna in the outfield, as he has better speed and a better arm the Alonso.

      @MassBoost Seriously? Ozuna is faster than Pete Alonso? Damn I knew he was slow but that's crazy.

      @@kyleOWillFixIt Alonso sits at 26.1 ft/sec sprint speed and 70.6 mph throwing, last time Ozuna played the field in 2022 he was at 26.6 ft/sec sprint speed and 79.2 mph throwing (not enough data in 2023 for statcast on Ozuna's 14 innings in the outfield).

    Idk if contact hitters are a thing in the modern era, but I would look to maybe get some guys with some speed that could help on off nights when hitting is in the gutter. Put pressure on opposing pitchers with guys that can steal

    Jake i dont care about international signings. I dont care about these cast offs the Braves keep signing. All these other teams are signing big time players. Braves are losing key players. Alex has always said he wants to win. Well what he is showing is he doesnt.

      @@SportsLiveInTheAtl I have no clue what your definition of cast offs is, thus I asked if Chris Sale would be 1 of them since Boston was willing to pay $17mil to the Braves for him to not play for them. If Sale's a cast off, then I'll take cast offs if they're productive that like. I'm not sure who else you consider a cast off?

    The Braves will finish third this year because they did not trade players who contract were up and was not going to signed with them. If you not going to sign Ozzie or re-up his contact it may be best to see what you can get for him. I also think it time to move on from Sean Murphy after this year. Please dont trade Drake Baldwin in the minors. You goung to need two outfielder in the near future with Ronald not going to sign for 100 million again. He going to command up to 200 to 300 million dollars. You need to move on from some of the players you know you not going to resign.

    • @baseballandmore8654
      @baseballandmore8654 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      murphy needs to go. But if the Braves are in the playoff race that year why would they trade ozzie at the deadline same with acuna. But with the way this team is ran we can kiss goodbye acuna and ozzie

    • @MassBoost
      @MassBoost 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Braves still have control of Albies for the next 3 years, and Acuna for the next 4 years. As far as Sean Murphy is concerned, he's been the 2nd best catcher at the catching position in baseball according to WAR since 2019 till now, only Realmuto has been better.

    • @Butch-b9t
      @Butch-b9t 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I'm talking about Max Fried and Dansby Swanson. Dansby turned down the contract along with Max Fried so why didn't you trade. You could have added pieces to your bullpen and outfield. You're not going to re-up Ozzie for 100 million for 4 or 5 years . See what you can get for him . San Diego picked up some good pieces for Juan Soto.

    • @MassBoost
      @MassBoost 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Butch-b9t You don't trade players when you're a play-off caliber team, trying to win a championship. If they did what you're suggesting, then they should have traded Freeman in 2021, and just forfeit their chances to win the World Series. See how that works?
      When it comes to San Diego, they had to barrow $50mil at the end of the season to cover expenses, including payroll, their owner Peter Seidler just died, and now the wife and 2 kids are currently fighting over the team. That's why they traded Soto, completely differently situation all together.

    • @Butch-b9t
      @Butch-b9t 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @MassBoost You bring up Freddie Freeman contract which is totally different from Max. Fried and Dansby Swanson. They offered Dansby Swanson a contract and he turned it down. They offered Max Fried a contract and he turned it down before they hit the free agent market. You lose too many good players where you could have restocked the roster. What did you get for these players?
