Pelageya Sergeyevna Khanova, known mononymously as Pelageya, is а Russian singer. She sings folk-songs from different nations in different languages, romances and compositions written by the members of her group, mostly in rock arrangements.
Elmira Kalimullina is a Russian singer from Nizhnekamsk, in the Republic of Tatarstan. She got famous after being a finalist and ending as the runner-up of the first edition of the Russian version of The Voice. Her new single, "Budda", is a very interesting midtempo pop. The use of ethnic instruments make the song get a unique final sound.

These young women graduated from musical higher educational institutions in Russia.
Pelageya - started singing at the age of four, studied at eight (without exams!) at the special music faculty of the Novosibirsk Conservatory. At the age of 10, the young talent was transferred to study at music school No. 1113 with an in-depth study of music and choreography (at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow). Young Pelageya is a contestant of the Siberian Young Talents Foundation, a participant of the UN international program "New Names of the Planet". At the age of 14, Pelageya graduated from school (ahead of schedule) and entered the Russian Academy of Theater Arts (GITIS), at
graduated from the Faculty of Pop Music in 2005 with a “red diploma” (all highest scores in all subjects). Before that, in July 1999, at the invitation of Mstislav Rostropovich, Pelageya participated in the "music festival in Evyan". (together with Evgeny Kimin, Ravi Shankar, Paata Burchuladze and others). The great Galina Vishnevskaya called Pelageya "the future of the world opera scene."
On March 11, 2020, by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Pelageya received the title of Honored Artist of Russia.
Elmira Kulimullina started studying at the musical choral school "Dream" (Nizhnevartovsk, Republic of Tatarstan) at the age of 6, subsequently attended dance school and art lessons. After the 7th grade, Elmira moved to the specialized Lyceum No. 14 (at the Academy of Public Service under the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan). At the same time , she began taking singing and solfeggio lessons from the famous teacher O. M. Saperova, several times became the winner of vocal competitions in Tatarstan, then won a series of Russian competitions "Silver Voices" in Ivanovo, "Silver Edelweiss" in Moscow, etc. After that, she received the curatorship of the Minister of Culture of Tatarstan Z. R. Valeeva. After graduating from the Lyceum, Elmira passed a competition and entered the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov. During her studies, she participated in productions of the national rock opera Elmira Nizamova "Altyn Kazan", opera by Sergei Prokofiev, as well as in other concerts. In 2012, the singer graduated from the conservatory. In 2013, Elmira became an honorary ambassador of the Kazan Summer Universiade, participated in the final concert of the Kazan Universiade at the Kazan Arena stadium, which was broadcast to 170 countries, and 45 thousand spectators attended the stands. In 2014, Elmira became an honorary ambassador of the ceremony of handing over the flag of the World Aquatics Championships in Canada. A year later, at the opening ceremony of a sports competition in Kazan at the Tatneft Arena stadium, the singer performed the musical composition "Forgotten Shores". The concert was broadcast in 130 countries around the world. In 2015, at a concert in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Kremlin Ballet Theater in the Moscow State Kremlin Palace, Elmira performed a duet from the musical "The Phantom of the Opera" with Gleb Matveychuk. In 2016, Elvira Kalimullina became an Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan. And in 2017, she performed at the UNESCO headquarters on the Champ de Mars in Paris and at the same time completed the filming of the historical television series "Golden Horde", which premiered on Channel One.
In 2020, the premiere of the first Tatar-language musical "Apipa" took place at the Kazan Opera and Ballet Theater named after Musa Jalil.
