I grew up in east atn n spent most of my 50 years on planet earth right here in Claiborne co Tn and out of all the country music i heard come out of that ole A.M. radio speaker when Tanya Tucker came across the radio waves it was a special treat for me .
No one sings "Delta Dawn" like Tanya Tucker.
Wow. As soon as Delta Dawn started I could sing right along. Every word. I wore that vinyl all the way out back in the day.
She never gave up, she's always been a hit maker
I remember in 72-73 standing in the back of my daddy's truck singing Delta Dawn at the top of my lungs, putting on my own concert 😂..love Tanya Tucker
Thank you so much for this! A true fan for almost 4 decades that enjoyed every minute! ❤️🎵
I seen Tanya Tucker when the state of Kentucky had a show called Phillip Morris. And I've loved her music since. My Uncle that passed away several years ago loved Delta Dawn. I wish could meet her in person and tell her thank you so much for teaching me the love of music more than I did have. Country Music is my favorite it makes sense.
It was great seeing Tammy Wynette again! I met her many years ago when I was working as an usherette …she was just incredibly nice❤️
Tanya is my favorite of all female artists. I literally love ❤️ her songs and she will always be the one singer that is in my ❤. I pray that she continues to do well in her life. God bless her.
I just love this beautiful woman / entertainer. I’d love to meet her someday… that’s on my bucket list. You failed to mention the many other things she has done like produce the best Salsa ever on the market at one time. I was saddened when I couldn’t find it anymore. Hat’s off to one of the best ladies in country music. Keep on singing my friend…❤
I listened to WSM growing up, we lived in Western Ky and it was one of the only stations we could get. Love the voices of the classic country singers
You Go Tanya. It was the fall of 197I or 72 I'd just turned Fourteen that September 1st and My Dad & I were leaving too go Goose 🦆🦆 Hunting in Northern Alberta. Anyway's I had and 8 Track Tape Player with Me. So while getting ready to Drive up North that November, I was playing My Music 🎵🎶 Country, Rock, & Easy Listening Stuff. Well when Delta Dawn Came On. My Dad perked up and Said Who's that Singing there.
IT was the Second Year in a Row that My Dad and I were Leaving Together too go Hunting. Just Us Guy's, taking Off for 4 Day's Alone. A Son's Dream Coming True Yipi Ki Yi Aye FTFers . I for One was on the Moon. Ya Know.
So when Dad Questioned Me about the Song, I Boldly told Him, that the Young Female Singer was My First Crush 🥰🥰 and Her Name was Tanya Tucker. Well Dad Looked Over at Me, Questionably Smiled & Said Really Son? She is Your Crush Girl. I Said Yes She is. And He Calmly Said She Has a Great Voice like Patsy Cline had. Boy You Talk 🦜🦜 about a Father and Son Connecting in Unison. And that was Us. Needless to Admit it Now. But Tanya Tucker has Ever Since then been My Favorite Female Singer of All Time. So Thank You So Much for Sharing Her Wonderful, and Difficult Lifetime Story, With Myself and So Many Countless Other's. May God Bless Him. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I grew up on Tanya Tucker.. she’s 8 years older than me . Wich would make her today about 64… that’s crazy I love her!!! I sang Delta Dawn at school when I was in the first grade!! It was on the Radio and was my first real taste of country music…
I’ll be honest . I’d never heard of her ! But now I love her . What a talent and strong character !

There's a 20+year span of when those people came out. You act like they came out in the same Era. Also, I can almost bet u dont know 5 other songs of patsys besides crazy without googling.
Great documentry.. great story
Tanya Tucker is one of the female artist that had me listening to country music way before Country music became half country and half Pop music. Tanya paved a new country for all of the up coming stars from 1972 to now
I still listen to Tanya today, just wish she had stayed from alcohol, smoking and drugs
I used to spend a lot of time at Henderson arena she was the sweetest most beautiful girl broke my heart
She came in when country rock was just getting started.
She's the one that started Country rock
She is and always will be one unique voice amongst all the rest.

Great story and I grew up listening to her music
Tanya, my favorite female artist since "Delta Dawn". I'm just a few months older, but my oldest granddaughter, soon turning 17 was rocked to sleep with Nana singing Delta Dawn daily and multiple times in her day. I decided she'd be Tanya Tucker fan if I had to teach her everyone one of TT's songs! Love you Tanya, a sister after my own heart!
My favorite song is "Would you lay with me."
Love Tanya Tucker, she's got one heck of a great voice, and she's one bad ass woman
I had a crush on this woman and her music when I was 6.
She’s my one favorite country artist since she was 13 singing Delta Dawn n my favorite Two Sparrows in Hurricane. I give her so much credit to continue to believe in herself n her music.
Great documentary. Love it!
Theirs something about her voice, I just can't explained, one of the best vocalists, and oh soooooooo beutiful😊
I am 1 month older then her I watched that amazing lil girl grow up on stage an loved all her songs they all inspired me in my own life direction I to love that lady wild an all she was wild for me I couldn’t be but through her I dreamed Ty Tayna Tucker hugs a serious fan I fell like a sister

A favorite!!! Jamestown Ferry, Wilson Green, Would you lay with Me. What a talent.
I grabbed a handshake from her back in 79 at the Wayne county fair in Ohio. I would love to meet her, one on one.
She got in a 57 pink Cadillac
Thanks for your songs girl
Love her ❤a beautiful lady with a beautiful voice 🙏😇🇺🇸❤️🥰💕
Very nicely done documentary...
I remember I was coming in from working on water wells and it was hot and I was dirty and sweaty. I suburban pulled up along side me on the Interstate and a blond woman was waving at me. I halfheartedly waved back as they passed. Later my neighbor called me and said you weren't very impressed by Tanya Tucker. I said, " What?". He said he had taken Tanya fishing on the Big Horn Moutains and they passed me on the way home. So that was the blond girl. Little did I know.
I loved your Netflix documentary nothing is over 🤠 cowgirl you were Huge growing up were just few years apart I can't wait to see what you do next Tanya heehaw giddy up!!¡🎉🎉❤❤
Ive never a devoted fan though she does have several that i love. Strong enough to bend being my favorite. I most appreciate the fact that she convinced Leslie Jordan to make his gospel record before he passed and i love her for that
My kind of lady..

Always loved her music
I enjoy that she is good singer ❤😢
She beats them!
The first few songs Tanya Tucker grabbed my 13 year Old heart. Then I found out she was only a few months older than myself. So I guess she had stolen my teen heart.
Sat beside her in first class out on Nashville. She was very nice!
Her & Glen Campbell really took a trip.togetger back in time. Lol❤❤
❤😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤🎉🎉
🎉
* I & a few other Jerry Lee Lewis fans met her when she was over here in the uk. --- Jerry Lee was on his 1987 sold out tour of the uk.& Europe. Yes ,it was nice talking with her ,she was watching Jerry's shows.
Loved your voice from the beginning

Tanya is my favorite! Such a beautiful star and talent!

Throwing firecrackers at her brother while he's driving the bus!?!?
She's a fool and lucky to still be alive. But she's made it to 65 so
God Bless her.
amazing!! watched the whole thing with tears in my eyes!!
Thsnks for sharing Tanya memories with us. ❤❤❤😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉😅😅😅❤
She is the age of. my Daughter! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😢😢
When I was 12 years old, Tanya was 13. I have followed her all these years.❤
She's my dad's time but I've loved her since I was a kid I grew up to her music like Cash Marty Robins Haggard Williams etc which I met when I was 10 left a good impression on me. She reminded me of a kid except when I told my dad I wanted to sing he said I was too dumb to sing the thing is I can sing and could have been something that's the difference between having a good dad and my da was an ASS HOLE she had a good dad.
I love her. I wish I could tell her that. I grew up with her on the radio. I’d say between her and Adrian Barbeau. Would be my first star crush. I still see the both of them by their smiles. That’s why they’ve never changed to me. I’m glad they didn’t spend a whole lotta time on the GC end of it. Because, in the 80’s. That saga seemed to go on forever. Thank you Ms. Tucker!
Bette Midler sucks! I'm glad Tanya Tucker ended up with Delta Dawn. Blood Red and Going Down and What's Your Mama's Name are still my favorite songs.
Never cared for Glen Campbell disliked him even more after what he did to her!!
I well remember hearing Tayna Tucker when she first came on the scene in country music, and wow, was everyone, including myself, highly impressed. She was that good with talent and looks to boot. She has a special style, and she owned it lock, stock, and barrel! I'm genuinely thankful and grateful to see and hear this talented young lady go big and make it. Almost similar to it happing to my own self. One of a kind, unique, and thank you Ms. Tayna Tucker for taking us along with you on your road to superstar. Kudos!
Tanya was blessed with great Parents..
I’m always conflicted about parents who allow their children to be in adult situations. I do believe her father had her best interest at heart. She was so young, but there are no guarantees what her life would have been had they stayed in Texas.
AWESOME TALENT .....
I have heard Delta Dawn on the Radio since I was 10 years old. I just assumed that Tanya was an Adult Performer in her 20's or 30's ..I assumed she was Loretta Lyn and Dolly Parton's age.
Years later with more forms of Media .. I knew that Leanne Rymes was very young when she became famous.
Please play SEMINOLE WIND for me!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tanya made it because her parents helped her develop her interests instead of what they wanted. Record companies and industry will write singers off, but the rest of us wonder where they are and still want them around.
She always been the greatest female singer in my life.
I saw Tanya live beautiful lady she was pregnant all in tight black leather
WOW! What a gal ! Love, love Tanya ...I'd rather have Tanya than Dolly and Tammy , Tanya had put "joie de vivre" and I love that....
Love her music. Started listening at 13. Loved my arms stay open all night. And little rock
I hav a picture of Tanya riding a horse in Shreveport, Louisiana when she first started singing.
Beautiful soul filled voice 🙏
I barely had heard of her but knew the song Delta Rose had no idea what a huge star and presence she was in country music. I can see why her voice is like Elvis's one in a billion. Wow.
My favorite is " Like 2 sparrows in a hurricane". Beautiful song. ❤
TANYA TUCKER is a MEGASTAR!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Never really liked Country Music, but I did like Tanya Tucker a lot.
🎼🤟♥️♥️♥️🤟🎼
Absolutely Looove Tanya!!!
She is truly one of the best entertainers that I ever seen at Craven Country Music Festivzl which I attended 32 times. I seen her when she was first starting at the Saskatoon Exhibition and then at Craven or Country Thunder last year. She is right up there with stars like George Strait and Garth Brooks. She has an amazing voice and stage presence and I was so blessed to get to see her again!
They never mentioned her cameo part. In what some people consider the greatest movie of all time. Did they?
Yes Jeremiah Johnson was a great movie and I didn't know until a few minutes ago that T.T. had a cameo...pretty neat cause i like both kinds of music and 60's- 70's westerns
Tanya was a wild child..God Bless her
First time I saw a video of her was when she was 14 sing Delta Dawn in the tight leather outfit and I was in-love with her from the day forward! HOOAH!!!
I’m sure someone’s already made this observation. Who produced this video. Isn’t a country music fan. When speaking of Jimmy Rogers. The showed a picture of the crooner Jimmy Rogers. These people were from Texas. They listened to the real Jimmy Rogers. I’ll betcha!
When Delta Dawn came out i was in elementary school. Little ol town of Bowling Green, Ky. Loved her ever since!!! Like he said she did what they all
did (and alot of us too). No shame in that
Mighty strong woman
I grew up on her music… singing her songs as loud as I could , riding in the back of a pickup truck in small town Miles City MT. With my best friend Karla and my black dog Clyde. 1970’s
I know every one of her hit songs word for word. ❤
Great singer
I would love to meet Tanya
