From what I see, you do get the regen as overshield, but only if you have full health already. at like 45:00 or so, you can see that you gained 10 shield at the end of the turn. I am writing this now, not knowing if you realize it later, because otherwise I might forget it. So I am sorry if you realize this later.
I actually didn't notice this later, but interesting. So if I have 54 HP and heal 10, I don't get shield, but if I have 60 HP and heal 10, I get 10 shield. Odd, but okay. Not as good as I thought!
I enjoy watching you play this a lot more than I initially expected. I would definitely be interested in seeing the occasional video as the game progresses through early access.
I think this is a really good take, though it has gotten a lot better from the demo. I like it to some extent because I think it's an area to demonstrate mastery over game systems (but that isn't necessary at low difficulties). That said, it is a little weird!
Oh look at that - it's the run you referenced when you said the text should be updated to tell the player it's a SMALL distant circle lol
Hahaha, yeah, exactly!

It's been doing better than I expected, actually, so I will be finishing out the week at least!

Wildermyth series soon. Colour me excited.
I'm not fond of the "pixel peeping" here for the perfect hits and such. I'm too much of a perfectionist not to do it, but it makes the game a drag :(

@@RisingDusk If it's gotten better since the demo I might give it another shot!
