  • First ride review on the new 2024 Husqvarna TE300 Pro. This is an all new bike for 2024, TBI motor, electronic power valve, new chassis and suspension. I'm really happy with how the bike performs so far, the suspension is fantastic and the TBI motor lugs up the hills really well. I'm not a fan of the new style combination start/stop button so I'll likely switch it back to the older style separate buttons. Excited to get more time on this bike now spring and better weather is here!

    Just a quick tip; check and set your TPS to .4 . It is never set right at the factory and your bike will run SO much better having it proper. You can do this with paperclips and a multimeter. Just make sure to back off your idle and cold start knobs first. I have a tx300 and it made a huge difference. Cheers from Canada.

    woot, awesome! I bought a pro a few months back and love it. Went with the gnarly pipe and love the (modestly) fatter low end grunt. KTM has tuned these for emissions, Send your ecu in for a tune ASAP. It transforms the bike, It did on my 1024 300TE. I would recommend the TSP kit from South Bay motors in California. I got mine flashed and sent back same week. Sorry you have to pay 12$ on a new bike and spend another 300$ but you will not regret it. Best upgrade outside suspension.

      Honestly I don't do anything special. For TH-cam you have to film in 4K these days so I do 4K 60fps, GoPro Hero 12 on SuperView, max stabilization, all the other settings are the default. ProShot chin mount. With any action camera having enough light is key as they really struggle in low light situations. This is why I don't put out much content in the winter months, It's too dark and the footage looks like crap. I don't do any color grading in editing or anything like that.

    Could you go into a little more detail about the idle adjustments you made and the seat foam cutting next time.
    Looks like you had a nice day out...we just got a foot of wet heavy Nor-Easter snow last night.:(
    Agreed on how well this runs compared to older TPI models and that I dont really like the starter/stop switch either- looking into options now.....then again I cant believe some people on youtube complain about these particular bikes at all (maybe just looking to hype their channel up? ) - were lucky to have any two stroke engine enduro bike still sold in the US market today. I thought J. Lewis long term review of his 300xcw was well done tho. Thanks for going to the trouble of posting your content for the rest of us looking for an honest review from just a consumer standpoint.

    • @PNWEnduro
      @PNWEnduro  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The red knob is idle, I have not touched it. The yellow knob is the cold start, turning it out opens the butterfly valve a bit and I felt it made the throttle response better.
      For the seat, I shave the foam with 40 grit sandpaper, no cutting. Some people use an electric carving knife but I don't want to risk wrecking a new seat.

    • @robinhenley7834
      @robinhenley7834 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Turning the yellow knob in, not out, opens the butterfly valve. It is for cold start idle only, when the yellow knob is depressed in. Pulling the knob out releases the cold start and you now rely on the red idle knob.

    • @PNWEnduro
      @PNWEnduro  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Pushing the knob in is not the same as turning it. Push it in for cold start, turning it out a few clicks is the adjustment I’ve made.

    I was glad to see it in your reveal video, though you forgot to mention one of the big things with the Pro/Hard Enduro trims is the wheel set. The Pro gets you Excel Takasago rims, which are excellent as you likely know.
    I'm curious what you think of the new, updated pegs. Like you, I almost always end swapping pegs for aftermarket units. This was especially true with my Betas. But these new-gen KTM pegs are legit; much better than anything the aftermarket currently offers.

    I know when ya buy something new, ya want to keep it clean, at least for a little bit. It is, after all, a DIRT bike. I bought a 2015 KTM 350 XCF-W Six Days, last November. It only had 124 hours on it. Clean as new. I think I'm just under 140 hours now. After a trip to White Wash sand dunes, just outside Moab, Utah, my white plastics, are now dirt stained, even after a thorough bath. I'm ok with that.

    I have a couple of questions; 1) Witch version of the Astra bar do you use? Did you reclaime those bars from another bike or are they new (cause here in USA they arn't available now)? You used the Yellow knob to clean up the bottem end, was that because it was too rich and blurbally? My freind has a standard TE and can't get the 0-1/8 throttle clean. Again , great bike.
