Great to come across your video brother, the last bit of craze I needed to just jump into my own trip with my 50cc typhoon, from Barcelona all the way to the nord of Holland, back and forth a total of 3000 km or more.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE! I'm shocked that a cheap Chinese 50cc scooter, that are known for not being that reliable, was used, and proved successful. I know that the quality and HP of 50cc machines can vary greatly. For example, i've ridden cheap scooters and really nice 50cc bikes like the Honda MB5 or Yamaha RD50 or Kawasaki AR50, and they are much nicer and more reliable than the Chinese scooters! In any case, it's great that you made this trip! It must have been exciting!
The way I figured it is that it’s easy enough to fix wherever. I ended up having to redo the whole fuel line system to get her working from the condition I got it in. This scooter is surprisingly still working!
Awesome! I saw at one point that you had a speed of about 70kph. 125 cc vespa tops out at about 90, your 50 cc at 70. More then double volume, and only a lirrle more top speed. I just found that interesting :)
Was this ttrip just for fun (!?) or a challenge to yourself ? If I were gonna do it, I would need allow a lot, a lot, of time, so I could stop, eat, see the sights, meet some people. Otherwise, a sore behind and not much else...lol.
The trip was mostly a personal challenge. I do wish I would have left more time intentionally to just go visit places instead of just driving through as fast as I did
Max speed down a mountain I did see 70kms. However without a major downhill the max speed was about 50km/hr 😅 not very fast but I still very much enjoy the slow pace!
They reach full operating temp within 30 mins and go up and down depending on the terrain. A standard scoot fully laden has no need to have cool down breaks. Main thing is keeping the oil on max. That’s all. Allowing the engine to cool, then start riding again will just cause wear as the various metals cool at different rates. Just get it up to temp and keep it there. Tuned is different.
It depends on the bike. Mine is a 4 stroke with a large enough oil pan that I don't need to stop to cool off at all. Especially in the northern climates I drive in.

@@chasingdreams2422 at any point of the trip were you worried about the bike or was it smooth sailing the entire way? :o

The building you saw wasn't a castle, looked like an abbey. And the big scary mountain range is called The Pyrenees.
Inspiration for my journey... Thanks
Great, thanks!
How does such a small bike cope with the hot engine, the load and the daily pounding? I'm amazed you had no mechanical issues.
I bought a vintage HONDA MB5 (50cc), and i'm travelling across the U.S. and up to Alaska on it!
With a helmet from biltema 🤣🤣👍👍 love your spirit
Oh yeah 💪🏼

Impossible
good it's good to stop a 50cc for about 30 min to an hour every 4-6 hours. to let the engine cool.
