I've seen a production of Sunset with Petula Clark. While Gavin is a talented singer, I thought he took too many liberties with the song. At times, it sounded hammy. The camp aspect wasn't really necessary, in my opinion.
not my style. a little too campy for my taste. Can *anybody* outdo Glen Close' performance at The Royal Albert Hall? I defy you to find *both* such great and subtle acting, matched with such a flexible and gorgeous voice? I *dare* ya'all.
