wow I am stunned at the everlasting absence of one key track..." my sweetheart " from the 1970s is an instrumental straight ahead rock track they seem a) unwilling.. b)*unable...c) don't give a fuck attitude...d) all of the above ... cannot don't want to play or perform it live!!
i am 70 grew up on Focus...but simply missed Akkerman..and in general far too much flute and little guitar work...often guitar and bass were far in the background ...and Thijs's microphone clearly hiped up on volume ....and i got simply tired listening to his flute and voice....i will stick to my recordings from decades ago...but tks...i am sure i am a huge minority....right now i would prefer going to Akkermans concerts as i have and enjoy when he occasionaly plays a Focus song...
