In reality I don't think you would see depreciation of that much unless the build up to the war was over maybe 5 years and countries started to switch away from the US currency for international transactions. The US dollar is the official currency used by governments in other countries. Also, at least one side of the conflict will accept US dollars for their goods and services for the limited amount they would be producing during this period.
