Agarkar was and will always be one of the most under rated player.
He could have easily been one of the best all rounders for india and would have played a similar role as in what pandya is playing today.

All rounder? Either you've not seen most of his matches or you're just his fan. he was never good at batting, was called "Bombay Duck" for a reason. Yeah, but he was a great bowler. You can not make up an opinion about a player based on a few innings which he played well.
Angad Singh but a few good innings make you to choose a al rounder in addition to a fast bowler....for your kind information he was a great hitter at that time...( now don't compare him with any specialist batsman;-))
Vabz agarkar had the best yorker in his early days. 100% success of getting wicket whenever he bowls a yorker
Ajit Agarkar has a century at Lords, and has been a part of Test victory in Adelaide. He also has scored the fastest 50 in odi by an Indian. Definitely deserves an episode on BWC

Loved to see how humble both of them are and neighbours now. I used to copy Zaheer's action and my childhood friends still knows me for that. Also, whenever Agarkar used to bowl or bat, I don't know why but I wanted him to perform well. Loved this episode ❤️

When you realize Agarkar has 280 ODI wickets & he kinda scored runs sometimes. What a Yorker bowler he was
Zaheer se zyada acha odi record hain actually 288 wickets from 191 odis compared to zaheers 284 from 200 matches... But zaheer was a hero in 2003 and 2011 world Cup. In 2011 zaheer was highest wicket taker of tournament with 21 wickets and totally has 44 wickets from 23 world Cup matches which is highest for india

Both are champions of Indian cricket. Ajit was an ODI stalwart but his spell in Adelaide still give me goosebumps, no one predicted that sort of a turnaround; specially R.Ponting c Chopra b Agarkar 0(17). As good as Dravid's 233. Good ol days.

I stopped watching cricket 7 years ago.....but i remember that Agarkar was very close to 300 wickets ...and the ratio of wickets per game was good....him not able to get 400 ODI wickets is kind of disappointing....i dont know if he is the one responsible or the BBCI for not choosing him......

When i look back, i feel very fortunate, fortunate about seeing these legends play for india.. as a kid, watching zaheer, agarkar, sachin, dada, vvs, dravid, sreenath and sehwag was just something beyond words can describe..!! Legend4Reason...!!
My eyes would always lit up when India was bowling, compared to batting. Zaheer Khan has been a legend,servant,idol and a inspiration for fans and sport enthusiasts.I loved his bowling,what a era its was (1995-2011).Salute!

Zak was speaking fluently on one to one conversation....and the conversation should go more on that part. I was a zabra fan of Agarkar's way of running style while he bowled the opposition, he won heart by running with such astyle..and Zak is awesome with his professionalism

Zak realised his capablities in later part of his career. Otherwise he could have been up there with mcgrath or wasim. Probably maturity comes with age and experience but he was the king of reverse swing in his later part of his career.
