Thank you very much, everyone else on that show lies and don’t show chit about their real lives. Melody and sometimes Ms. Martell show their good, bad and ugly. Ms. Martell is everyone’s problem. It was all funny when they we’re with Ms. Martell ganging up on Melody treating her like pure chit bec she decided that she was going to cut her losses. This woman lost everything she worked so hard for and left with the clothes for a week with her children. I don’t know how they thought she was going to fail, bec I knew she was the smart one.Ms. Marty is about outside appearances. They were both raised without their fathers and they both wanted their family to be a two parent home. Melody said she couldn’t take it any longer…I know that feeling all too well, I worked for an extremely large corporate that have over 150 plants in the USA and 20 abroad. I was the first blk woman they hired in one of their offices, I told them during the interview, don’t hire me bec I’m blk bec I’m not that kind of black person. It wasn’t nice at all but what they didn’t understand was, I was prepared for them being nasty, I knew how to be nice nasty. My Mother/Daddy prepared the 8 of us for the real world. I told them when they hired me I was going to retire from GBC @40yrs they all burst out laughing saying that’s impossible no one can retire that early and get paid. I said this tall, blk, smart, all around knowledge of this Company, i will and I will get 5K from each of you. They laughed and asked me “who do you think you are” a child of the King and we been had a deal. I retired at 39 1/2 but I went through so chit there, oh Yes but with my Granny, Momma, siblings, husband praying for me I could put up with the BS. It’s just I didn’t have ANYONE my color to confide in, but I had 4/5 men in the Corporate Offices that Loved me because of my skills, work habits. Haven’t worked in 24yrs, I’m a crafter and I enjoy that and I think I’m going to start selling my things. They use to try and work my black arse to death, thank goodness we were raised to go to work to work, not play, do your nails, hair, etc. Let’s just say the Lord never said everything was going to be easy, he did say he will ALWAYS be with us. We may not know or feel it but he’s that voice in your head saying “don’t do that” but sometimes we ALL ignore it. So we have to deal with the consequences of OUR actions…Knowing one thingee “This too shall pass”, don’t know how long.. I got myself into this situation and I have to deal with the consequences.
