You're obviously NOT familiar with Bamboo, try doing some research on it's massive ability in self preservation !! Re any other trees - WHAT says She isn't "replanting" ? She's quite the grower/ harvester.. NO planting NO harvesting !! Try growing your own crops & you'd know a bit more before sticking your foot in your mouth !! DUH.. dumb tree hugger !!

I think you harvest your sweet potatoes too early cause mostly they're all very young and tiny. If you wait for a month or two maybe you'll get a large amount of harvest plus they're bigger too. That's a waste of time, effort and the produce is not sustainable!! They looks like you're only pulling lots of roots!! Just an advice through experience That's what we did when we were young !! All organic no fertilizers or anything to enhanced our plants. Well it's your farm you can do whatever you want to do but good luck to your endeavor ma'am God bless you !!
She could be harvesting these particular ones at their peakness, larger isn't always the best, ie.. Cucumbers are very undesirable when left to grow as long/large as possible ..
