One of my friend had watched the killing of baby #2 and after that the mother bird abandoned the nest, and there was only a single leaf of the tree was left.
FYI, the bird that flew back to the nest is the father bird, it was the mother bird that flew away - they are in earlier videos both feeding them. The cutscenes after that show both mother and father. Doubt this baby bird survived - it was too stunted from the lack of food primarily given to the fat bird that got eaten

Birds make their sounds with their unique respiratory system. Any air moving in or out of the lungs can be used to make chirps. Unfortunately this means the squeals you hear are probably from it still breathing and panicking.

I noticed around the 1:00 mark if you listen and watch closely - you will hear the hawk arrival and bird chirping and see the mother/grown chick look around twice especially at 1:06 - but the bigger chick had flight capability still was loud begging for food and the mother flew off and left them

The baby birds usually open their beaks when it is too hot and they get direct sun shine on them. The mother bird also opens her beak in the same situation. I believe all the birds do open their mouth to get more air. I will ask the birds soon.
Surprisingly they knew it was an enemy, kept quiet and not open their mouth when the hawk landed. That last baby bird is also doomed. It's only alive right now because it's too small. The hawk will come back for dinner. This is just lunch.
