    it seems went through what a lot of us men face when courting someone. Yeah, it's not easy navigating the complexities of building a relationship, especially when the other person isn't as interested as you are.
    I'm noticing how women, as they get older, put this immense pressure on themselves to get married. But not finding love or being loved, it seems more about reaching that marital status. And honestly, that feels misguided.
    That it's not love they're chasing, not the warm feeling of being cherished. It's the idea of a ring on the finger, a husband at the side - the ticking of the social clock that says 'married' rather than 'loved'. It appears as though love - the essence of true companionship - takes a back seat to the societal demand for a wedding ring.
    The Bible teaches us that God Himself is the embodiment of love (1 John 4:8: "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love"). Therefore, in our quest for marital unity, we ought to be chasing after Love (God), as love itself is a divine virtue. We are taught that God is love, so isn't Love (God) what we should be pursuing in our quest for marriage? When forming a relationship with God, we are essentially forming a relationship with Love itself, because God embodies love. Shouldn't the same principle apply when we're entering romantic relationships?
    To me, it logical to pursue this same ideal of love. Should we neglect to make love the cornerstone of our unions, we risk sowing seeds of discontent and regret. This, in turn, could lead to the perilous path of questioning God's role in our decision-making process.
    Let us then commit to fostering love, not merely the notion of marriage, for in doing so we honour the essence of God's teachings. A marriage/relationship without love is a marriage/relationship without God and that is Hell (A place without Love).
    I hope this makes sense, cause I typed too much.😅

    Do you find it hard as devoted Christian woman to find a man in today's society? Cus I feel like you have to put urself out there more even if you get rejected cus ur chances of finding a man when you just sat back and pray are slim to none.

    • @khensaniclaudia
      @khensaniclaudia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think my point is that it shouldn't be hard because we are trusting a God who lives, provides and sustains. The moment it becomes difficult it's because we are using our effort and strength to find a man. Unfortunately, I can go out everywhere and download every dating app but if God says no, it's a no and if we force, then we end up in relationships where we strive hey.
