Colombia is known for it's strange, exotic and tropical fruits and the best place to try them is in one of the street markets that can be found in every city in the country. In this video, I'm going to tour an exotic street market in the town of Melgar, Colombia and I set out to try as many different fruits, foods and tropical juices as I can for the first time!

That produce market was amazing! The only time I've seen carrots like that was at an organic farmers market I San Fran and they were probably the best carrots I've ever had!

Grenadilla: one of the more common types of passionfruit, and one of the fruit flavors I'm very partial to (flavor, not so much the slimy crunchy texture...). Several different species have different names, all with fairly similar flavors though and really popular in the UK of all places too.
Couple of the others I'm trying to grow at the moment. Which, being large tropical trees in a temperate US basement...is an interesting endeavor that still has yet to bear fruit (pun intended).
