I do enjoy these Watch Club vids, great work! The Casio Chrono is a steal and the Brycen just adds some colour and indeed a more interesting dial. With regards to Pilot watches, jheeze, that ones going to be hard. I look forward to it - Good Luck

Both are great recommendations. I have the Timex Intelligent Quartz Linear chrono. It is slightly different than the Fly Back and I went back and forth for a while making the choice between the two. I was however, completely unaware of the Casio chrono which seems like a really good find for only $40. My favorite of all that you showed today has to be the cream dial Citizen Brycen. Wow! Such a great update on the tradional racing chrono from the sixties. Great video overall and I throw the Parnis fleiger pilot's watch in the mix for next month, in the under $120 category.
The Brycen is one I've had my eyes on for awhile. Strongly thinking about picking it up, especially as there's not that many reviews of it, and there seems to be a lot of interest judging from the comments so far!

Great video!!! I love chronograph! I own several, some on this list, some not on this list. I own a Timex weekender that does a great job for me. I bought it for $38 about a year ago, and it does everything the Timex watches you had on your list. I think it got more expensive after I bought it, but it was a real bargain when I got it. I also own a Nautis divers chronograph that I bought for $90 on a release buy in. It has 500 meters water resistance, a sapphire crystal, and an automatic helium escape valve. It’s probably my second favorite. I also have a Wohler chronograph with AR reflective sapphire crystal and 100 meters water resistance. And I also own a Bulova Precisionist chronograph that has a second hand that is smoother than any automatic on the market. I bought it second hand for $154, when it was a $1000 watch at the time. If you buy at the right time and place you can get some very good prices without breaking the bank, which is good because I don’t have much of a bank to break! LOL

I've got a couple of interesting options for flight watches I want to share with you. First one, I do not own but find interesting. It's the Aeromatic 1912 model A1373X - $79 on Amazon, automatic with a Seiko NH35. Second one, I do own and very much enjoy. It's the Aeromatic 1912 model A1396 - $89 on Amazon, automatic with Aeromatic 3266.24-17 movement with 17 jewels 32 hours continuous run time, full lume dial and retro spring crown guard.
i have the timex intelligent quartz chrono. the 2nd time zone can also function as 24hour indicator (say tell night or day 10 oclock) if you dont want to use it as 2nd time zone. and it can count up to 4hours , which is at least better than a lot of chronographs who can only tell 30mins or 60mins max, some chronographs especially those quartz fashion types even have chronograph for just 10mins (i.e. 9mins 59s)
Well I was a bit surprised not to see the Seiko Coutura make it to the list. It's a great chronograph available under 200 USD with a sapphire crystal and even an alarm function.

Still, love the look of that Citizen Brycen as well. Another interesting option that I just ordered is the Bulova Curv. They first one was rather futuristic looking, but the second set looks more contemporary. Noticed some refurbished ones on Ebay for under $200. Very curious about this one. As for next month... hmmm pilots watch under $60 may be a hard one. The only one I can think of is Ruimas Flieger on Ali. Under $200... I'd have to say the Citizen Nighthawk.

I purchased the Casio MTP4500D and unfortunately had to send it back. The main problem was that it was hard to tell the time in slightly dim conditions, the enlarged 60 & 30 markers makes the user have to guess the surrounding few intervals, and the lume was useless. But the craziest part is that the build quality is immaculate as if it were a $200-300 watch. The slide bezel was pure buttery precision. And the bracelet's finish was baffling for its price range. I would consider it a solid DAYTIME watch all in all. Great video as always! Really enjoy your channel. Cheers
Thanks for the report! Usually the lume on watches in that price range is pretty terrible. Definitely an area where Seiko has a pretty big leg up on Casio. Might try the Flightmaster or Citizen Nighthawk, but you'll be jumping way up in price.
@@JusttheWatch You guessed it on the money! I'm actually aiming for the Flightmaster. I use chronographs religiously for timing many of life's duties but torturously yearn for Eco-Drive. Really dug your Nighthawk review and it made it much more difficult to decide between the two. I wish Seiko made a solar Flightmaster. That would sell like hot cakes. You're the man, Dave! Keep up the phenomenal work
An alternative to the Invicta is the Parnis Daytona 03, I have one and it's a good value watch but a bit small and the clasp doesn't open enough which makes it a pita to take on and off. I love chronographs and have 10 including the Brycen.
Yeah I forgot about that one! Haven't gotten enough Parnis on these lists, but they make a lot of great pilot's watches too, so I think they'll be making an appearance next month!
Great show! One problem always overlooked by chrono manufacturers and reviewers is some statement regarding how long a total time interval the chrono will measure without needing to be restarted. I want a chrono that’ll run in chrono mode for at least 12 hours. Most seem to go only for 30-60 minutes.
Great presentation!! That Casio for $40 steals the show!!! I can vouch for some of your suggestions, as I have them in my collection. As you said, there are many great choices available in the "Budget Watch" category. The quality and options that come on some of these watches actually rivals what you might get with a higher end watch. Regarding next month's episode for Aviator style watches in the "Less Than $120 Catagrory": ......1st watch is one that Jody over at Just One More Watch just reviewed: a nice Corgeut 42mm Fleiger Style watch w/Sapphire crystal from AliExpress for $69. The 2nd watch would be the Citizen AW1361-10H Eco-Drive Avion for around $75 - $80 through Amazon. I have the Citizen and I must say, it's a really nice Aviotor style watch, and well worth price. Sometimes you can catch the Citizen on sale for even less. I scored a second one for my son 2 weeks ago for $51.00. The price has since climbed back up to around $77 right now, which is still a tremendous value for what you get!!! Thanks for sharing and doing such a great job of researching these watches!!!!
san martin makes a great flieger with insane lume for $150 or less that bulova has just double in price. in most cases with retailers a little over $300 i just bought one
Yeah it's a great movement, especially for the price. Solid, dependable, affordable, fairly accurate. Obviously you can pay more for higher end movements, but if you're looking at a watch under $400 it's one of the best options you can get.
3 years ago, you say nobody uses the tachymeter? i use mine with a broken speedometer cable i showed my girlfriend how to know how fast she was driving by using it on a measured mile once and now she takes my citizen chandler from me every time we go somewhere and i drive to make sure i'm doing the speed limit, other than that not really but it did get her interested in chronograph watches and now she has one
I actually have the pagani mecha quartz in rose gold and leather. It's a lot of watch for the money. the pushers have a satisfying feel when you use the chrono.
If you're gonna include Homage watches, look at Parnis, they make a lot of Rolex homages, and their daytona homage watches are really well made. the movement is very nice and the screw down buttons for the chronograph is fantastic, even better than some german made watches I've seen.
I enjoyed your selections, but you REALLY can stop shrinking and expanding the watch graphic. Just because special effects are available doesn't mean they're a good idea.

I’ve given Timex watches MORE hope than they deserve. I keep spending higher $$$ hoping I get a decent Timex beater. NOPE TIMEX WATCHES ARE PURE SHIT I’ll never drop another cent on Timex junk. I’d rather spend my $100-150 on a Seiko 5 than a Timex.

I purchased 2 Timex Expedition Chronographs. 2 Seikos one with an Elegant Looking Cream Dial, one Black Dial with White hands. Like them all!

I haven't seen any of the newer curvs, just the sci-fi esque original. Bulova definitely has some interesting things going on.

Glad you like it, but it's not a screen saver, it's just a slide show of pictures I've taken.
