Man I love that ya'll are putting up time references for newer hunters to learn off of. Everyone can pretty quickly learn how to make certain calls, but very good info for someone to be able to see how long in between calls in certain scenarios n stuff. Same goes for your map illustrations. Kudos to you guys.
Ran into Cole in the woods Friday morning. Y’all got a good intern with him. Very polite. Hope he had better luck than I did after parting. Great bird!
I had never heard drumming until one morning when a bird snuck up on me not 20 yards away. He jumped up on a fallen tree and started drumming. To my astonishment another bird showed up and started drumming too. They went back and forth for a good 20 minutes. Far and away this was, and still is my favorite encounter.
The coffee, the farts, the anticipation of the gobble, it don’t get more THP turkey tour than this. Great hunt. Cole looked like he just drank 3 Red Bulls in a row after he shot the bird. Not going to lie, a little intimidating!
@@austinvalle9619 I agree it’s all hard. But the few states I’ve been to have been easier than where I hunt in Mississippi. The hunting pressure is un real. I hunt every day and I’m never alone. It was 32 degrees and raining last week and seen 5 other trucks. That being said it’s not impossible I’ve done bagged two and I’m allowed one more in Mississippi. As soon as you see them you better have your dot on em ready to shoot because they wont be there but a few seconds

Well that was suspenseful...lol 😂 Awesome hunt gentlemen, right down to the bodily functions. I mean, it wouldn't be hunting without them...😅 Love what ya'll are doing 😊
It was a good team decision really. It was fun to always feel like we were all on the same page. It helped us all stay really confident even though he was relatively quiet most of the morning!
Right out of the gate and Cole Booth is fired up boi! Also been awhile since we got to see Ted's feet! Don't worry boys, I'm a weirdo on purpose, not on accident. That makes it ok 🤣 Good hunt!
I’m heart broken last year a the NWTF I bought a Hunting Public Glass Call. This year at the NWTF I bought a Hunting Public box call. This morning I dropped my glass call and shattered it!

I know ya'll were in Mississippi and just said you were finished with the first leg, but any of ya'll gonna be possibly hopping over to Alabama next? I'm starting my season off there in Alabama in a couple days, then Mississippi, and hopefully Tennessee before coming back for my Michigan opener.
Awesome video as always! Just out of curiosity at the beginning of the videos why are you not saying what state you are in? Just curious. I always liked knowing what part of the country you are hunting. Obviously this is down south but wasnt sure where
Been practicing my gobbler yelps, don’t hear to much about them on TH-cam, mostly old timers. Might be the missing piece to my puzzle. Pretty work though 👍🏽
A lot of simi auto ( bineli ) u can’t close easy n quite u pull back let it rip or risk miss fire or wat called the Beneli / berrata click …..I saw coal ease it down
Hope your tri-star treats you better than mine has me and the kids! The chambering mechanism is kind of wack. And the pin to load and unload has fallen out 3 times and left me with a loaded gun and no way to unload it. Even the replacements fell out in the field.
This will be my 1st season turkey hunting ever. Can't wait to try my hand at bagging a bird. To make it harder, I bow hunt only, don't use firearms to hunt anything. So this will be even tougher on me. Love the videos and learn a ton from watching you all. Wouldn't be a true THP video without Zach farting. Hahahaha😂
Have always loved the videos but I really hope all the MS hunts were on private land they have permission. Since in 2021 or 2022 MS legislature passed the law that all MS public land is closed to non residents unless drawn for the first 2 weeks of season. There is no way every member of THP got drawn to be there
They haven’t been in Mississippi since day 11. Which I’m glad did a good job of not saying where they are. Thank you THP for being discreet about these last couple videos.
That’s a damn lie they just said in the last video that they just left Mississippi 😂 an it’s only so much public land by the Buccees that’s not being very discreet lmao

Cole! Curl! It's a reunion! Great episode!
Cole , Curl & Zippy
Glad you finally showed the beard and the spurs
Use me as a “I ain’t never heard drumming in my life” button. Good lord every video these dudes hear Toms drumming from 100 yards away. I envy them 😂
I heard it for the first time last year! They're full of little secrets! Hahaha.
13 years in and I still haven’t heard drumming. Only spitting… I don’t think my damaged ears can even pick up the frequency
I’m right there with ya. Never heard one drum in my 20 years of chasing them. Figure I’m just unable to pick up on it
Less than 70 percent in one here and 65 in another. Love this sport but man it’s hard for someone like me lol
First time for me last year
9:51 the reason I never fast forward THP videos.😂
Haha! Glad you enjoyed it!
Congrats Cole. Great job with the mouth call Zach.
Travel safe and hunt safe!

Very much enjoyed the first leg of the Turkey Tour
As a southern turkey hunter it’s hard! As soon as they get to where they should see a hen and don’t they’re gone. You always end up with a hard shot!

Roy all but had his tag wrapped around that bird but that's how it goes sometimes. Sweet video and the patience is what killed that bird.

Hey. Mind your own business and watch the video. Nerd.
Why do these dudes never have their guns loaded
We talk about this on the previous video when we cover our shotgun setups. We don’t load our weapons until we setup on a turkey for safety reasons.
As thick as that woods was, should have moved closer to him, you could have gotten away with it.
I can hear drumming in videos with earbuds. Wish I could hear it from 100 yds in the woods!
