Big difference from the other day! Looks like he’s joined up with you. I like the way he followed you and kept his eyes on you! You are definitely doing good for this guy!👍
I do like the way you train. I wish you could vacation in Florida and start my 4 horses, I can’t do round pen work anymore because I have vertigo and would fall down!
Looks like he is very bored, almost as if he is always on his own? A herd animal acts like this when they are alone and combine that with being young, it is as if its a teenager that has been sent to his room and never can play (and loose energy) but also never gets set on his place by an elder/more dominant person than him in a group format. Did the previous owner have other horses? Looks as if they didn't since he reacts so enthusiastic to the other horse(s?) on your terrain. But I could be wrong of course. And, it looks like you are trying to find out if he has been trained at all? Did he have any kind of sensitivity training? Or is that a question you are wondering too? Looks like he maybe might? although, he acts like a very young kid that tries to taste everything (like everybody does when young, by putting everything in the mouth) but, he was never given a clear understanding by- you can taste this but now you did, now its done- a clear border. One thing I do not believe... that you were told that they had done real work with him. He acts way too young, too green. He needs to get some companionship in a field and get some much needed pecking order under his belt. And steady, firm but gentle leadership. Edit, I too think he is not mean 🙂
You are perfect trainers for this type of spoiled horse 😊🙏

He just got away with being cheeky and testing his boundaries.

You shouldn’t need to make a horse tired to put a saddle on. Poor training sad to see this pop up on my for you page
