Just got the 250 Gunslinger. Best set-up / demo video I have seen on this stand. Thank you! I don't understand why they don't supply a tether to connect the platform to the seat - that is a climber must have! And mine did not come with a safety rope and harness. I still have two of the older Tree Lounge stands I no longer use. Those are all day comfort climbers but heavy and cumbersome for me to haul in and out. When I used them, I left them on a tree and brought the body cushion in and out. I will still use my Summit Vipers for quick in /out short hunts. Summits are not what they used to be since Pradco bought them and they very noisy - they ping like crazy. It takes some serious mods to make them quieter. I usually kill my biggest trophy bucks from 10am to 2pm during the rut season but I get in the stand at daylight. Summits get uncomfortable to me at 3 hours except for the older 180 version they no longer make. Looking forward to using the gunslinger the next year. I will most likely leave it on the tree during the season. If I like it I will get another. Oh yeah, if you want to make any noisy "pings" go away, use Durabak-18 paint/coating. Nothing else like it on the planet to make a climber quiet and its extremely durable. I scuff with fine steel wool or 800+ grit first then wipe down with Xylene and dab on with brush or roller. The US Navy uses it on their ships. You will thank me for that!
I have the gun slinger also. Been using it for 20 years. Very comfortable but a lot of work to carry it in and out. So I find funnels and leave it on a tree and then hunt it that way.

Thanks for that info on the Durabak. I'll have to try it.

Yeah it can be cumbersome to pack it in and out every trip. I like to leave it for a few days before taking it down and relocating.
Yeah leaving it for a few days is way better than in and out all the time. But I do like the stand
Thank you for doing this, I came across this stand recently and will be buying one! Have you bow hunted out of it?
You're welcome! It's a great stand! Not yet.
