As a native Mainer, we always left Rangeley to the outer staters for the most part. Having said that, Sarge's Pub and Grub is a fantastic place to get beers and grub
I was disappointed that the Lakeside theater and Rangeley Friends of the Arts was not mentioned as being the focus of cultural events in the area. They do an incredible job of delivering high quality plays, events, movies and a forum for the talented local students showing off their dance skills and showmanship. A great place for everyone! Check out their schedule.
Have been there, it is beautiful. And one of the most expensive places to stay and eat in ME. We even looked at the possibility of moving there. To find something that we are used to was really difficult since there isn't a lot to choose from. And when we found a comparable place, the price was above what we would pay in PA. so we will just enjoy our visits to this nice area.
The South Bog trail is not in Rangeley Lake State Park. It is 1/2 mile from the park entrance and is owned and maintained by the Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust. RLHT has several trails around Rangeley. I recommend the Cascade Stream Gorge Trail.
Nine feet of snow? No, I don't think so. Amazon delivers by sled dog teams five months a year. :)> It is really pretty-- the other 5 months a year. The mud is two feet deep in May, and the wing spread of the skeeters are almost two feet as well. :)>
Ha! ...well if you Californians could tame that El Niño down a bit we would have a normal winter. These weather patterns are always changing 30 years ago or so we went through the same thing. The kids loved playing on the grass in February back then. Book a flight two years from now and we will show you snow. Have a great week-end.

There is good food in town. Thanks for watching.

Thank-you for the insight. I hope viewers can take advantage of your Cascade trail recommendation, I sure hope to this October.
Everyone in Maine knows someone with a camp in Rangley 😂
My buddy is in Dallas Plantation. Man the black flies there are heavy. Hope all is well.
Facts! I know a ton lol
Rangeley is beautiful. Perfect for astrophotography.

There is snow on top of snow. You can't even measure it all. :P
We haven't been getting that much. Maybe over the whole winter
Love the videos....but we Californians want to see that 6ft of snow...
