Apologies for the extra audio reverb, slipped through the editing process on this one but I think I've identified the problem and shouldn't happen again
Concerning the chat at the end of the first game: A) This isn't the Salt Charity, it's called the Salt Mines. Our man did some great mining. B) Great performance from PiG, would definitely prefer some more plays over just reading the chat😂
lol that guy did that to me on 1v1 ladder the other day too. just immediately started taunting and acting like he was screen cheating and seeing what i was doing, then he lost horribly and accused me of being a smurf with the justification that he was smurfing so should have won.
Funny thing about teamgames, mostly I found my opponent or my ally blame their ally instead their opponent also being teamkiller. I love this salt especially this one 11:21 . That one is the first time I see PiG make like this. 🤣🤣
PiG the blue teammate's name is 'ROMA" not "poh-mah" - the cyrillic letter "P" corresponds to the Latin "R" You can tell it's Cyrillic cause the "M" in his name is small caps, not lowercase Plus his team is "Moskva" ie Moscow
Amazing detail from the first game is that as the airtoss bmed his opponents, his teammate Puma never built a single production structure or anything after failing the worlds worst cannon rush, then claimed that his bm teammate was a noob. Chefs kiss delusion
33:18 PiG when salty Terrans lifts their base to the corner in order to stretch the game out, instead of rushing out flying units to finish them off, I'd love to see the winning player give them a taste of their own medicine by using the opportunity to practice their late game: expand to more and more bases, invest in tech upgrades, scout the map constantly even though you know where the enemy is, and crank out units into separate control groups to skirmish against one another (or just clump up air units and drop parasitic bomb/storm/nuke to cull supply count quickly). Is this a message that could get out to the community? Denying these players their sad final attempt at spite just feels the perfect way to maximize salt extraction.
Kinda weird, 3:35 Poma transfers his 1400 minerals to Bengan, then he's dead by 7 minutes. Is this a strategy of throw away one player to try and prop up the other? Good salt though! Also, I don't think this game is on the Salt Mines playlist yet.
12:23 Do note that "YOU*RE" and how the asterisk is replaced with a star. This means that Bengan didn't caps lock, but instead held down shift, which honestly is way more hilarious.
your Print Screen button saves your current screen of your game, if you hook it up to a free cloud drive or a designated folder, these screenshots can be saved immediately, if you insert your video game, into the steam launch, you cna have steam overlay and f12 work while playing the game to take screens shots with your steam. Doesn't always work. Its great ot get ingame messages from steam. Helpful tips...
Endofline was pretty nice tbh. If I was them, I would've milked this for the salt... kept playing and just killed a drone when the draw counter comes up...
Finally moar team games. btw poma (so pronuonced something like roma) is russian and hes probably a Vanznihk as his name is the name of a russain Warship.
My experience when I would do a cheese. My back up recovery, was always expand, and I would simpyl build a wall of buildings, typically it would give the minute I would need to boost economy and defend the base at home, and tier into or build.. while shooting over the wall, with marines/ marauders/ tanks/ stalkers/ hydras..... Yeah... I am zerg player taht just likes hydra.. I find they can jsut do so much more powerful damage, and doing a 80 hydra push into 80 hydra push back ot back, is scary... There was a game recently I watched and they both had 10k resources and were bleeding out slowly... protoss verse zerg... protoss had air, verse zerg and serral... So... the protoss didn't have a correct composition for the fight but had a tonne of resoruces that they endded up bleeding out.. slowly but maintaing their air armada... so... If I was protoss in that game, teh correct procedure against zerg is queens hatchery and ground units that you attack, ignroe hte ocrruptors when they have suffecient ot coutner you and take out broods and anythign that can harm you, maybe save some of the floot... build 1500 minerals woth of warpgates adn swap into stalkers... or zealots.... forcing your opponenet to mutate the corruptors into broods, but stlakers allow you to destroy them.. Using the mother ship..... and keeping it alive hopefully.... you start replace your air amrada into.. stalkers, which would typically be about 90 stalkers... warp in about 15- 20 at a tiem based on your original late game build. THis massive ground tech swap, voids the corruptors. and allows you to kill them... if yo udo the opponeent will replace their army... but stalkers are actualyl great for killing broood lords. Since you can blink after the intitial attack and underneath them.. and stuttering brood lords is .. garbage... since they turn like .. worse than a tank.... anyways... this game of bleeeding out and replacement, typically won't win since your giving your opponent the upper hand.. but surprising them with a repalced army of suddenly 40 stalkers and 20 more coming in.. wiht 60 supply stuck as corruptors.. they have ot rally the hatcheries which allows you to pick a tertiery location to get very good trades as teh zerg goes into trickle zoning when they are resupplying.... Hatchery mining, IE positiing tropps in a way where the zerg cannot form a swarm... to your killing speed, IE rallying to various locations. Trickle production is never effeciently and is costly...
Everytime I do 2v2 or 3v3 I always get killed by my own teammates because I'm not too good at the game. Not even a ranked match, just regular unranked casual mode.
An interesting strat, is gas harvesting interuption on zerg over and over rather than killing drones.. If your terran you then build lots of hellions and deny them from mining gas effectively... So you set up a plunker squad made for destroying geysers as fast as possible, over and over through the game. This delays the volume of tech and units.. it really slows down players if you can remove those buildings, its more value then the drones against zer,g nuking geysers is easy and certain death... Drones are nice also.. but it is an interesting strat... even wasting minerals to build over their geyers further delaying the gas system. Many peopel always attack mineral lines, but foiling gas, can severaly dealy higher tier units and you cna force your opponent to limited context to do nonsense stuff, So zerg typicaly they just build lings.. Protoss, delayed you see more zealots, and terran you see more marines.... which you can counter fairly easy. Terran... well marines.. lol... Zealots... their quality diminishes rapidly.. lings.. are always just ... typically yo utrade better against them... If yo ucombine this strat as terran with banshees... you just have lings... and limited presence of gas units... it changes hte game more then effecting the mineral gatherers... if you can only kill 6 drones (300 minerals). Geyser is worth... 75 minerals and 21 seconds or something... but its more than that typically makes idle drones 2x... which is probably near a saturated line, and often they are made to make buildings.. lol Droping and geyser killing.. as soon as hte drones retreat, don't chase as terran, just kill the geysers.. and run off... Be intersting to see a geyser centric game to see the chagne in the game play.... its like when ( uthermal) killing off the miners but left hte geysers, forced the protoss to build archons since its 50/150... its really interesting. .. lol, since he forced his opponenet into the coutner to his army, lmao.
So in the first game I noticed that Poma's minerals kept getting funneled towards Bengan. Is it possible to send resources to allies? If so and if that's what was happening then was Poma the one Bengan was calling the "noob ally?" If so then HE WAS GIVING YOU RESOURCES, YOU WAFFLE.
I never understood why people jump to calling people they lose to "bad." My beef with smurfs and tricky players is that they're good and should be higher MMR and be forced to use their cheeky strats on superior players that will absolutely slap it down, thus forcing them to revert back to standard play. But some people don't like that you're supposed to lose half your matches, so they intentionally lose half their matches to have a 100% winrate on the matches they don't throw. I mean tldr I just hate smurfs but "You're bad" is just a stupid insult when you're losing. "You're too good to be this low MMR, so why is your MMR not higher?" is the real question.
I really wouldn't compare tricky play to surfing. A player like printf is not intentionally losing games. They are *genuinely* losing because they insist on a suboptimal strategy which is possible for players with otherwise inferior skills to beat. Their MMR is an accurate reflection of their expected performance. Their win rate against players with similar MMR is likely to be around 50%. Why *should* they be forced into 'standard' play, if they'd prefer to stick with something less effective?
2014 Masters players didn't even know how to build libs. Lol. Noobs. L2P. (The game has changed too much to really compare easily. Masters 2v2 tends to be easier than Diamond 1v1 though.)
there's certianly things we know now they didn't, on the other hand there was more people playing then and other esports other than LOL hadn't really kicked off much so most progamers were all playing SC2, so the amount of players with great mechanics and killer instinct was pretty high back then. Hard to compare
In that final game, it reminds me of the first Pirates of the Caribbean, when Will says to Jack: "In a fair fight, I'd kill you", and Jack responds with: "That's not much incentive for me to fight fair then, is it?". Honestly though, the fact that the guy who lost is talking smack and telling the opponent to get good... but doesn't realize that by that logic, he lost to the retard, loser, monkey, or whatever other demeaning description he decided to give... so what is he supposed to be then. :D
Apologies for the extra audio reverb, slipped through the editing process on this one but I think I've identified the problem and shouldn't happen again
If you look at 10:40, it was a 13 or 14 pool.... i dont know why, but he had 13 workers while the others were on 17 workers. Specul tectics
All good, thank you for a 2v2!
PiG deserves an academy award for that performance. I could watch that all day. 5 STARS
it was beautiful. i cried :*)
That beautiful play brought a single tear to my eye, gorgeous.
A truly exemplary display of acting.
Concerning the chat at the end of the first game:
A) This isn't the Salt Charity, it's called the Salt Mines. Our man did some great mining.
B) Great performance from PiG, would definitely prefer some more plays over just reading the chat😂
21:55 I appreciate that mute to sneeze. I used to play with a guy that would hit his push-to-talk whenever he would cough or sneeze.
What can men do against such wreckless hate
This was the best salt mines ever. SImply due to your rendition of the 3rd act haha. That was great. Loved the background music. HAHAHAHAHA
Amazing interlude reenactment. I’m here for that.
I use the salty tears from this series to season my food
Put it in your coffe, makes it less bitter.
Then you would have made your food inedible. Salty tears from toxic players are saltier than the Dead Sea.
Try it as a lubricant
keeps those electrolyte levels right up there
@@abouttime2569 the dead sea is beautiful considering its name
That play was some of the most entertaining sc2 content i have seen so far. The music choice was somehow apt too.
the play was a fucking 10 out of 10
lol that guy did that to me on 1v1 ladder the other day too. just immediately started taunting and acting like he was screen cheating and seeing what i was doing, then he lost horribly and accused me of being a smurf with the justification that he was smurfing so should have won.
LOL these guys are truly something special
I havent played in....like a decade....but this salt....is draws me, I wish to bask in it.
Be careful and don’t OD on salt
Can we appreciate the last Terran that writes idipt, realizes its mistake, and corrects it to idot?
Pure perfection
I love when they're too angry to type properly, it's just so silly
Lmao
Clair de Lunatics: a one man play; starring PiG. The passion, the pathos, the pejoratives.
Funny thing about teamgames, mostly I found my opponent or my ally blame their ally instead their opponent also being teamkiller. I love this salt especially this one 11:21 . That one is the first time I see PiG make like this. 🤣🤣
This is a special edition of salt mines where we get so see salty boys yelling at their teammates
That's just the average teams game lol
I love the voice over acting and the improvising of what happened after
PiG the blue teammate's name is 'ROMA" not "poh-mah" - the cyrillic letter "P" corresponds to the Latin "R"
You can tell it's Cyrillic cause the "M" in his name is small caps, not lowercase
Plus his team is "Moskva" ie Moscow
cheers mate thanks for the heads up
no, no, no, stop explaining, this was way too funny hearing Poma instead of Roma
That is typical russian behavior. And they are not ashamed to advertise their terrorist nation, what a country
I think it's not Poma but Roma written in cyrillic since the m is small but looks like a capital M
Yeah and Moskva is Moscow in Russian (but not in Cyrillic here for some reason)
@@kielireland6719 maybe you can't create a clan tag in cyrillic?
@paweguzik3506 I was thinking that. But why not do MOCKBA then? It's not like there's a Д or something required
A truly magnificent performance Sir Pig! I can only hope for more interpretive post game scenes 👏
I love the way the last guy handled the situation. Everyone should handle trolls that way. It burns their soul much more than yelling back.
You bring me back to watching SC2 all the time for a decade now
This was exactly what I needed today, I had a poop-eating grin the whole time, especially during the play. Wp PiG hahah
Hahahahahahahaha reading the out of game chat to relaxing piano was freaking hilarious
Came for the salt, stayed for the theater. 😂
"Clearly the superior smarter human being" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nice choice of music for the second part of this. Excellent
Benny Blanco from the Bronx must have been a nightmare to work with
Salt Mines is just the gift that keeps on giving.
The boss told us to jump off a cliff. They dont think of anything map like.
Such a good representation off Sc2 2v2 ladder 😂😂😂. Great video.
Amazing detail from the first game is that as the airtoss bmed his opponents, his teammate Puma never built a single production structure or anything after failing the worlds worst cannon rush, then claimed that his bm teammate was a noob. Chefs kiss delusion

I was SO invested in the play. Top tier performance!
Ok, the play sealed it for me.
My favorite part is the left eye of the crying guy.
Kinda weird, 3:35 Poma transfers his 1400 minerals to Bengan, then he's dead by 7 minutes. Is this a strategy of throw away one player to try and prop up the other? Good salt though!
Also, I don't think this game is on the Salt Mines playlist yet.
Fantastic animation! Love it! ❤️
This is the great stuff we're craving for. Thanks for this awesome episode!
11:11 truly a masterpiece of salty goodness
The not accepting message after that first whisper I think means that Bengan chose to message, it wasn't in response to CapAmerica
17 pool, looks more like a 14 pool to me.
PRODUCTION VALUE IS OVER 9000!!!
12:23 Do note that "YOU*RE" and how the asterisk is replaced with a star. This means that Bengan didn't caps lock, but instead held down shift, which honestly is way more hilarious.
sex Panther, that's genius, I love the anchor man lol
Harstem cannon rushes all the time, and he's a grandmaster. It's not just the poor diamond leaguers 😂
That was a lot of tasty salt. Merci Pig!
always enjoy Salt Mines, but loved the live read part!

Loved the Caesar reference!
I think Bengan's a subscriber to the no rush map max style of play.
I very much enoyed that excuisite artistic performance..touched my soul
Soyjak seething at chad, we are so back
Used to play Poма all the time on ladder, (it's Roma - short for Roman, a Russian name) and ye, it's pretty much air or CR for him every game :)
I hope that one dude's family rat is okay. I think about it from time to time.
One of your best videos Pig, thank you very much! kkkkkkkkkkk
thnx mate!
Shakespere would either find the play absolutely delightful or absolutely horrifying.
These games were hilarious!
Salt Mines? Inject it into my veins, now please :D
2:14 Pig, it's a Russian name "Рома", which is read as "Roma" in English(not Poma).
YES best series on YT lol
this was a good one again
Quality content right here.
Endofline was pretty nice tbh. If I was them, I would've milked this for the salt... kept playing and just killed a drone when the draw counter comes up...
Clair de Lune rant was great 😆
I keep hoping to get a good replay to submit, but my saltiest opponents are ones that are chat banned by blizzard 😢
I'm with the terran in the 12 pool game
Terran salt is the best salt.
Finally moar team games. btw poma (so pronuonced something like roma) is russian and hes probably a Vanznihk as his name is the name of a russain Warship.
That's what I thought. He was about as useful as the Russian ship was too
Any time someone says their opponent is wasting their time, they're admitting that their own time is worth less than their opponent's.
How lol
Not the Leviathan skin for the ravager - that looks like the Bone skin (not part of a set - individual skin for the ravager).

wow... that was a lot of emotional disorder ^^ they went of like firecrackers ^^
that 2nd game, the zerg could have expanded elsewhere and even had a drone ready to do it at his 3rd but just didnt do it xD
Who was the ReRe again?
I can't wait until the salt mines from the new patch.
Poma like a tomato? Poor tomato.
When I was a kid playing SC1 I once asked an opponent to let me win because it was my birthday.
It was not, in fact, my birthday
Also. Watching this almost makes me wanna go back to ladder
What replay overlay is that?
Everytime I do 2v2 or 3v3 I always get killed by my own teammates because I'm not too good at the game. Not even a ranked match, just regular unranked casual mode.
Sound is phasing like crazy. It is doubled within your computer somehow.

first game was basically a 1 v 2
echo in audio, but a lovely episode.
that russian on 2v2 wasn't poma, he was Roma, short for Roman (I know in GTA IV Roman Pellic is Serbian so not just russian).
Salt mines are the best
last game was pure Artosis vibes
Legendary comedy
Ha! Master Troll Theater!
I never understood why people jump to calling people they lose to "bad."
My beef with smurfs and tricky players is that they're good and should be higher MMR and be forced to use their cheeky strats on superior players that will absolutely slap it down, thus forcing them to revert back to standard play.
Hey, maybe he ate a Snickers and got some self respect. After all, you're not you when ur hungry
Are 2014 masters play on par with modern day diamond play? Not the players but just the game play?
2014 Masters players didn't even know how to build libs. Lol. Noobs. L2P.

Pure art
poor «Пома»)))))
In that final game, it reminds me of the first Pirates of the Caribbean, when Will says to Jack: "In a fair fight, I'd kill you", and Jack responds with: "That's not much incentive for me to fight fair then, is it?".
Honestly though, the fact that the guy who lost is talking smack and telling the opponent to get good... but doesn't realize that by that logic, he lost to the retard, loser, monkey, or whatever other demeaning description he decided to give... so what is he supposed to be then. :D
haha self awareness runs in short supply in these folk
10/10 performance
Does Poma have a clan tag (or whatever that's called)? As in, the Russian ship? Is he a supporter of Putin or something? If so, good thing he lost.
That play was actually a great way to break up an episode. For all the negativity, this one was fun.
