There’s one thing I notice that Rarukun has that most other Luigi players lack: knowing when their combos stops becoming true or will whiff. You can see Rarukun will attempt to regrab or reposition the instant he realizes he can no longer reach.
My guess would be that against Min Min vertical movement is way more important than horizontal speed so Luigi is fine there. His mid range options can work bc tether grabs reach through hitboxes and Min Min always has to navigate that threat. She can't even get away from Luigi's advantage state, which is normally lackluster. Her biggest positive in the MU is the edgeguarding, but either Luigi can stall / mixup timings or he was in a position that almost any character could exploit anyway.@@danny0boii

With Rarukun properly mixing this up with amazing general min min counterplay, he was able to place doramigi on the backfoot the entire set.

This Luigi is different, he didn't rely on grab hardly at all and his conversions and neutral all around were nuts.
