This computer-assisted learning (CAL) software contains various programs that simulate animal experiments in Pharmacology. These programs can demonstrate the effect of drugs on different animal systems. The package is user-friendly, highly interactive and full of animated sequences which make simulation appear realistic. The current version of Experimental Pharmacology (Ex-Pharm) Series Software consists of the following computer-simulated experiments:
PCI has issued guidelines through Gazette Notification No.10-1/2012- PCI; Dated 25 August 2014. The mentioned guidelines stated, “Wherever animal experimentations are prescribed in the curriculum, the required knowledge and skill should be imparted by using computer-assisted modules”.
PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) has issued the latest notification, Dated: 25 Nov 2019, Ref. No: 10-1/2019-PCI (PT- 1)/6644-46 (Letter Attached) as per that " Wherever animal experiments are being conducted using simulations, the requirement of Animal House & registration with CPCSEA is not Required for such institutions"
In silico pharmacology (also known as computational therapeutics, computational pharmacology) is a rapidly growing area that globally covers the development of techniques for using software to capture, analyse and integrate biological and medical data from many diverse sources.

Miosis, or myosis, is excessive constriction of the pupil. The term comes from Ancient Greek μύειν (múein) 'to close the eyes'. The opposite condition, mydriasis, is the dilation of the pupil. Anisocoria is the condition of one pupil being more dilated than the other. Mydriasis is due to stimulation of the iris dilator muscle or compromise of the parasympathetic tone of the iris sphincter muscle, or both. As with miosis, mydriasis can be pharmacologically induced with agents such as atropine.
