Thanks for the feedback. Currently we have no relocation video in planing. You need to do more DXFs and measure 2-3 points doubled. Afterwards overlay these points in the CAD program.
Can I make the same 3D measurement as video shows with disto x4 with dst 360 if I connect it to a Pc with AutoCAD plug-in ? X4 gets equal abilities in 3D measurements like s910 with this way that it wasn’t possible before ?( because x4 can’t save 3d dxf files)
Yes, the DISTO™ X4 with the DST 360 allows to work the same way as with the DISTO™ S910. You just need to connect the PC and DISTO™ transfer via Bluetooth with the device. This function here does not require the dxf function of the DISTO™. It is directly transferring the values to the CAD program. The dxf function on the S910 would allow to save up to 30 points on the DISTO™ itself without the Need to have a computer on the site.
This is not possible. AutoCAD Mobile only supports the transfer of distances using the Bluetooth connection. For 3D data, the AutoCAD version for Windows would be required, and there we are offering a corresponding PlugIn.
Hello, Pero - The DISTO transfer software includes a Plug-in for AutoCAD and BricsCAD. For SolidWorks you would have to use the DISTO transfer software for transferring measurement values to your software. Just start DISTO transfer, configure the values as you need them for your application and then send the value from your DISTO to the cursor position in SolidWorks in the configured format."
@steve ryan I know that when I open a dxf file in SW, the software does not work well only when I save the file and reopen it works fine..Other thing all the plans on the 3D object relationship go wrong. The top, front, and right planes do not fit well with the 3D object
It would be nice to have some video of the relocation.
I have yet to learn. For me the device is golden.

can I measure an entire house in 2D or 3D include opening, stairs,outlets...do you have a demonstration?
Yes. Where are you from?
Check on our website for a dealer close to you who can give you a demo.
can I connect Disto S910 to "AUTOCAD Mobile App" to detect and directly transfer points in 3d?

I use Solidworks software. Will I be able to upload data?

Thank you for your reply..
I'm expecting delivery of S910.
@steve ryan Yes of course ..Very useful in measuring
@steve ryan I don't think SW is as ideal for use as AutoCAD.
It can be used but there are some disadvantages

Can this be done with autocad lt?
AutoCAD LT is not supporting Plugins so it will not run with our Plugin either.
