Well, I must say I truly enjoyed this episode of Beauty Bible. The cooking at the end was good and the relaxation of good food and wine. I never thought about bathing my feet in wine. I'll try that some day. Excellent show, thank you for posting

I'm surprise the youngest looking ballerina uses a scrub on her feet for calluses. It makes sense for the scrub to come in last. A famous ballerina once said that she wasn't allowed to get pedicures cause it would take away callouses and make her feet weaker, sensitive, and prone to more injury.
I was thinking something similar. It's like a guitar player using scrubs on her hands - you're doing yourself no favors by softening the parts of your skin that need to be thicker.

Can someone tell me what product the makeup artist is using at ~21:40? The translation calls it "base", but I've never heard of a product called base before. At first I thought it was primer, but he applies primer after the base makeup... so now I'm confused. Thanks in advance!
He applies the foundation after the primer. There is a related product called makeup base that will also help your makeup stay on longer but instead of filling in creases, lines, etc. is intended to intensify colors in the rest of your makeup.
Looked up makeup base and came across 'Nature Republic Pure Shine Make up Base.' Never knew base was actually an independent product separate from primer and foundation, lol. Thanks for replying :)

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that it's more of a bad translation. What he says literally translates to 'Tone Up' which i couldn't find in the dictionary. Since he tells the girls to choose a color that matches their skin tone, I don't think he's trying to make her paler than she is.
ppl who don't understand korean can only rely on the translation T.T and this is their official subtitle...
