My wedding and party cake business was called "The Flour Shoppe...a little cake company".... I miss it but am going to start doing this... tired of wedding CAKES...time to do something different. LOVELY WORK...thanks for sharing.
I love these step by step videos you make. As a new cookie decorator I find them very helpful. The way you describe what you are doing is very detailed and helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and skills!!
Hi of Puerto Rico, the all decoration of cookies are precious, fine and elegant. Thanks for you video, explain with details and the templates. You are artist. ¡God bless you art!
I am just beginning to learn cookie decorating, and I am so happy to have found your youtube channel and your website. I have already purchased two of your kits. Thank you for putting together your kits and giving all the detailed instructions on your website. It is so helpful to me since I am still trying to figure out what I am doing. Your instructions save me from frustration by telling me exactly what I need to do. I look forward to more of your kits.
Thank you for the wonderful instruction, your cookies are beautiful. I just have to thank you also for your lovely videos, they are to the point without a lot of unnecessary chit chat! Your a pro!!!
Awesome tutorial! May i ask - on the gold painting on ring, i always have this problem Where my gold turns out like its pitted or more like the gold gets absorbed into the icing and it practically submerges in? Oh its horrible. Ive tried many types of gold and im wondering if its my icing causing this. Any tips on how to fix that ? Thanks so much!
Thank you for your tutorial. I'm thinking of making these cookie for my future daughter in laws bridal shower. I am a beginner to cookie decorating but with practice I think I can manage. I would like to ask you, what time frame would you say I could make them ahead of time to ensure freshness. Any advice and tips for storing them? Also, love the decorating kit!
When working on a big project, you can break it up in phases. I'm not sure how many you'll be making. I like to write the plan out on paper. These times are a general estimate...for example, for 100 cookies: Monday (6-8 hours) - Mix Dough and chill (1.5 hours, + 2 hours inactive time), Prep Icing (1-2 hours depending on number of colors you are prepping), and Bake - 4 hours **store cookies overnight in ziplock or airtight containers Tuesday (10-12 hours) - Outline and Flood in Morning 5-6 hours and Details in Afternoon and evening 5-6 hours (sometimes I won't be able to work in the evening and I'll finish details the next day) **store cookies overnight in cool oven Wednesday (3 hours) - (Finish any details that still need to be piped) Pack cookies 3 hours (this will vary with how you pack them - twistie or heat seal plus a ribbon) When packed well, they would be fine for a weekend wedding. You can also make them in advance and FREEZE cookies up to 3 months in a freezer quality container. I hope this helps!
This set is so cute plus you made an awesome job!! 🥰👰♀️🤵♂️🎂💐👌🏻 I just made this cookies for a 3 different weddings with your kit, I really love them. I tried to download the templates but I think the link isn’t working right because send me to a blank page.
You make decorating look so easy! I want to do some wedding cookies for a cousin's wedding this August. Thank you for the inspirations and explanations!
Hi This is great TY. I need to order the ring!! But on the blog post me and a few others are unable to download the templates. They have iPhones and I have an Android. Please help. 💜 TY.
Typically I use tip #2 for outlining and most details. But I'll size down to a #1.5 or #1 for the delicate details (like the stems on the bouquet or the piped lines on the wedding dress.)
I make the flowers the day before I make the cookies. They typically need at least 6-8 hours to dry. So I let them set-up overnight. Then once I 'glue' them onto the cookie with royal icing I would allow another hour or two of dry time to make sure they are secure. (see my decorating schedule for this project on this blog post - www.flourboxbakery.com/blogs/tidbits/how-to-decorate-five-wedding-cookies)
@@tawnamorris7197 Awesome! I usually *try* to use the icing color of the background. That way if any icing oozes, it blends with the background. I didn't do this on the mini roses on the diamond ring and if you look close you can see a bit of green peaking out.

Thank you for the suggestion! We are always looking for new ideas :) I'll add this to the list!
what do you mean by alchohol? such as vodka? or the antiseptic?
Yes
Hi how do you get the cookie cutters tampletes
How long does it take the flowers to completely dry and stay on the cookies so they won’t fall off?
I make the flowers the day before I make the cookies. They typically need at least 6-8 hours to dry. So I let them set-up overnight. Then once I 'glue' them onto the cookie with royal icing I would allow another hour or two of dry time to make sure they are secure. (see my decorating schedule for this project on this blog post - www.flourboxbakery.com/blogs/tidbits/how-to-decorate-five-wedding-cookies)
Flour Box Bakery thank you so much for the reply! I am attempting my first “glueing of flowers” next week.

I hope you are using vodka and not rubbing alcohol. Could you please clarify?
We use Everclear because it leaves no flavor, odor, or color after it evaporates/dries. Hope this helps!
What kind of alcohol do you use
Anne where’s the blog post
You can mix your gold with vodka as well 🙂
How to make royal icing
Sorry but your link states it will steal my financial info. Is it broken by chance?
