I've beaten TXR3 at least six times and am in the middle of a 7th playthrough on my emulator, but never understood how to really tune. I only used RWD cars because MR's liked lift-off oversteering and I could never get a 4WD car to grip as well as Reiji's Evo. At 9:37:33, Impatient Speed Princess/Crossroad Queen will race you if your car has ANY plate from Saitama Prefecture (her motto is "I love Saitama/あい・らぶ・さいたま" in Japanese), so you can use 大宮/Omiya, 春日部/Kasukabe, 所沢/Tokorozawa, or 熊谷/Kumagaya. Don't be fooled by Reiji's little easter egg, her Lancer is HEAVILY tuned.

In this game someone at Genki apparently screwed up the traffic car coding to point where only the Hiace Wagons were the only Traffic cars that could spawn basically 100% percent of the time on very rare instances other traffic cars can spawn. But like I said on “very rare” instances if at all.

In case you haven't found a way yet, here's an easy one: You'll need to beat Thunder Dragoon, and have a Viper. Simply apply the team sticker to the Viper, and boom... You become the "Imperial Dragon".

I've beaten TXR3 at least six times and am in the middle of a 7th playthrough on my emulator, but never understood how to really tune. I only used RWD cars because MR's liked lift-off oversteering and I could never get a 4WD car to grip as well as Reiji's Evo.
At 9:37:33, Impatient Speed Princess/Crossroad Queen will race you if your car has ANY plate from Saitama Prefecture (her motto is "I love Saitama/あい・らぶ・さいたま" in Japanese), so you can use 大宮/Omiya, 春日部/Kasukabe, 所沢/Tokorozawa, or 熊谷/Kumagaya. Don't be fooled by Reiji's little easter egg, her Lancer is HEAVILY tuned.

In this game someone at Genki apparently screwed up the traffic car coding to point where only the Hiace Wagons were the only Traffic cars that could spawn basically 100% percent of the time on very rare instances other traffic cars can spawn. But like I said on “very rare” instances if at all.

In case you haven't found a way yet, here's an easy one:
You'll need to beat Thunder Dragoon, and have a Viper. Simply apply the team sticker to the Viper, and boom...
You become the "Imperial Dragon".

The next game after this one was 3 years later Import Tuner Challenge excluding the Kaido Battle/Tokyo Xtreme Racer drift and Street Supremacy/Shutoko Battle Zone of Control. Games which take place between TXR3 and ITC in the Tokyo Xtreme racer series as an Xbox360 exclusive game published by Ubisoft.
