- Solving any workshop's problem with 3D Printing
Hi there fellow tinkers!
In today's video we'll tackle one of my biggest workshop problems so far - organizing.
Having a small workshop is usually challenging, more so when you like buying tools and gear. Because of that, you'll end up with stuff laying all around your workshop.
I'll switch the ugly boxes and commercial storage systems for Gridfinity, the modular organization system by @ZackFreedman (see video: • Gridfinity: Your Ultim... )
Moreover, I added some designs of my own to the ecosystem, as a sign of gratitude for the open-source community that contributed to this project.
All the models designed by me are free to download here:

Love to see how fellow makers take advantage of the limited space we all have! Subscribed!
Thanks a lot! Indeed, limited space is a struggle, but not a reason to stop making great things! :)
When you started I was afraid that you were going to make changes to the Gridfinity system. Glad to see that with "provide more value to this" you meant creating some nice designs.
I love the boxes for the bags, will definitely make some of those for both the kitchen and my workshop.
Ah yes: vaseline. A very versatile 'grease' that every shop needs. If you burn your fingers, cool with water as usual and then put a nice layer of vaseline on it. This will cool down even more and prevent/reduce any blisters.
After a few weeks of using the bag boxes daily, i’m really proud of them 😁
Way to go man!!! Keep up the good work!!! 👍🏼😃 Nice to see you!
Thanks a lot, old friend! ❤
Awesome design on the Bag Bins with the sliding lid.
I do whish that it would have the magnet holes
I will generate a variant with magnet holes as well and post it on Printables, I'll let you know here once done :)
@@tinkertv awesome thank you so much for your effort
Hi there! I updated the printables post with the files that contain magnet cutouts :)

Good luck!
Really interesting video 👌 please keep posting + you should put klipper on the old printer just to use it to batch produce these containers 😂
Thanks mate! I decided to donate it to a young friend that starts his journey in this hobby 😁 I think in this way it will provide much more value 🫡
Thanks for sharing your greate work
i would need a gridsystem, where i can lock it to the grid, so i can hang it on the ceiling or under a table. any idea? actually i would hang some on the cailing of a wagon, so if it can handle vibration it would be a product whats not there yet and i believe with 3d printing its possible, maybe even a "in place print" where the moving parts are already in the print.
Hi there!
There are a few variations of gridfinity with locking mechanisms, but I would advise for the regular one with magnets. It's easy to print and the magnets should keep everything in place during vibration :)
