The new standard size has a larger central open area since they removed the divider that you had between the memobottle and your powerbank. Makes the space more flexible and compressible.
I first bought the Mini Tech Bag - Did not find the "perfect" place to stand up my iPhone Pro upright & my iPad mini fit a little to snug I returned it & got the Tech Bag (mid size). I have been using it for 3 months while traveling in my Van Conversion in the Southwest.
Now I have the "right" place for the most used stuff ( phone - wallet - keys - AirPods - lip balm). Every other EDC (and there is a sh*t ton that actually fits) They all found their place -- eventually!
You get used to reaching for the side grab handle or at times just man handling it by the top. I exclusively carry it a sling bag (on hikes, shoping & bicycle rides) and have no interest in the accessory strap to stablize it. Since you access the bag as a sling while you are wearing it from the back a Pro Tip would be to always access the bag from the back - that way with muscle & brain memory it facilities locating what's in the bag - For me "often' without having to even look - For Real Son... The ability to stand it up is so nice as the mini did not stand up on its own & that was a PITA.
So - daily use for 3 months I am very happy with the bag. The bigger one would only oblige me to add more stuff in it. - so I'll stick with this ohe.
BTW fully loaded the bag weighs 5 lbs 9 oz & appears to manage it just fine!!!
Hello, do you think a mirrorless camera like the sony zv e10 with kit lens would fit in the max version and still have some room for other stuff?

I normally take a BT mouse a charger with cable and sometimes some overear headphones. Do you think that would work on the tech case mini?
The mini isn't big enough to fit over the ear headphones, the max is probably the best fit to fit headphones+anything else

I think I'd throw the Hero Clip on the straps, and certainly ditch the water bottle; I'll be very interested in learning why you like it.
I did initially put the heroclip on the strap but it tends to slide around too much when taking it on and off. The white water bottle I really regret buying yes lol, I'm going to make a 'buyers remorse' video about it shortly, but the vapur bottle I love, I always try to carry water with me because its important to keep hydrated and its not always easy or cheap to get water when out

It just fits my passport, however the lip of the zip needs to be put over it to zip it up but it does fit, only just

Thanks, no its not insulated unfortunately so its just a heavy metal bottle, I'll be making a video on it shortly

I bought the mini by accident can't even fit a book in it.. do you ever have multiuse or really use more than one at a time ?😊
The mini is definitely for smaller items (maybe a wallet, phone and some other small edc items. I don't think you could really even fit a book in the Max one unless it was a small novel. But occasionally I do use multiple of them at the same time, as packing cubes inside of a backpack, but I wouldn't typically wear multiple as a sling at the same time lol
Is it possible to have a clasp that is not magnetic?
They do offer a 'fidlock v buckle' version of their pro strap which fits all the bags

The sling is adjustable and flat so I would say yes but I'm not sure how stable it would be if it was packed heavy
