Courtesy of CTZ Travel, we had the pleasure of experiencing & touring several Blue Diamond properties in Negril, Jamaica.
The Royalton Negril, a Luxury Family Resort, Hideaway by Royalton, a Luxury Adults Only Resort & Grand Lido, an Au Naturel, All Butler Suite Resort. Most have heard about the Royalton brand, as an all suite luxury property for families, and Hideaway being Adults Only, but few have heard of, Grand Lido, because it caters to a specific niche, Au' Natural. Yes, Grand Lido is a nudist resort. This concept is not new to us, so we jumped at the opportunity to experience the property. And this property did not disappoint.
As we stated, it is a boutique property, so its adults only, 26 rooms, all Butler Suites (Swim Out or Oceanview), with 2 pools, hot tub, swim up bar, and small beach area. There are also several cabanas, and a Jerk Hut for lunch.
Grand Lido is what we call a "Stay N Play" property, meaning you stay at Grand Lido, but you have access to the other 2 properties (Royalton and Hideaway), as well. Which gives one, access to over 20 restaurants, countless bars, spa, gym, specialty cafes, and shopping... All without leaving the property.
We were treated like Royalty from the time we stepped foot onto the property. Greeted with a signature cocktail, and transported to our room by golf cart. Our Butler, Tianna promptly greeted us, escorted us to our suite, and gave us an orientation of the room and amenities.
Our entire stay, she was only a text message away, taking care of our food requests, dinner reservations, and even scheduled us a complimentary spa service. And the ultimate was the room decor surprise that she did for us on our last night. Roses petals all over the room, hot bubble bath in our in room tranquility tub, champagne, and food served tub side... Who could ask for anything more. This was truly the icing on the cake to an already beautiful, fun filled, ultra relaxing, beachside vacation.
We will definitely be back!!! Thank you to Blue Diamond Resorts for hosting us, thank you to Grand Lido for facilitating a beautiful experience, and thank you to our Butler Tianna & Bartender Peaches, who extended superb service.
