I love teachings much more when its backed up with scriptures cus our experience and ways of getting results from God is not the same thing I'll believe what jesus did he will help me cus he knows me himself.
We don't fast to crucify the flesh, we fast because our flesh has been crucified and the ONE who now lives in us is not a glutton. Actually the flesh cannot be crucified by fasting, but on the cross! The one and only acceptable death which Jesus died had crucified our flesh once and for all, we all just need to see that death as our death and belief the transaction on the cross, then the resurrected life is activated in us. Such people manifest the fruits of the spirit, love, joy, gentleness, peace loving not critics, who tear apart the body openly..😊

Look at all these people doing 72 day fasting in most churches or 40 days, why are they still lustful, evil, their character has not changed inspite of the long days fasting carried out by most Christians or churches.
